Doesn't substitute for a bath
I was pretty intrigued by this product as I believed nothing is better than a good bath. I used to work at a pet groomer (we groom dogs, cats and some interesting exotics like cougars. I used this on my 3 month old cat as she would get poops on her little cat feet and on her butt. She was around 1.7 lbs when I started using this product. It took about 2-5 pumps. Anyways let's get on with it.The nice part isPros:1. Very pleasant smell. It lingers after the bath as well. I used this on my cat and the smell lingered for a few WEEKS. The lingering smell is not strong at all. Just really nice :D2. Very easy to use. You just lather this on the cat and dry him or her off with a nice towel. Easy Peasy.3. Leaves the coat very soft. I would brush the cat after drying.Cons:1. In the initial use the smell is strong. I thought it was OK but my brother who is very sensitive to perfumes could not stay near me while I was using this. If you are sensitive to smells as in you can't walk into a Bath and Body Works without feeling like crap don't use this.2. This is not a substitute for a real bath in my opinion. I worked as a pet groomer and like I mentioned we've worked with a lot of dogs and cats. This can be great for spot cleaning or for inbetween baths but if your cat is dirty NOTHING will substitute a real bath. If you're bathing your cat PLEASE use lukewarm water.3. I feel like this will not last long if you have a cat that is 5+lbs. I use around 2-5 pumps for my little kitten and I can't imagine how many you need for a big cat.I believe this is a great product for a pet owner that wants to spot clean their cat. I would NOT recommend this as a substitute for a real bath if your cat is dirty in general.

Works As Expected In My Case
I have a tiger-stripped male cat who is just over a year old. His fuzzier lighter hair had overtaken my house, so I tried this stuff. I was pretty skeptical, but for the price and the cruelty free badge I figured I'd give it a shot. To my surprise, actually seemed to work as expected. Does it magically make hair never shed again? No, but I have noticed a ton less of the fuzzier hair that sticks to everything (Belly and Tail Fur). The longer, thicker hair might shed a little less, but that's probably from combing this stuff in which in turn gets rid of it on the brush, and its not enough of a difference to write home about. So, since it seemed to do most of what it said, I give it a 4, because I feel like it might be a little misleading as far as how well it deals with the heavier hair, which in turn is probably more of an issue for longer-haired cats.Keep in mind, in my case my cat is young, so the spray conditioning the hair probably has a better effect than on a cat's coat who is losing it to old age. I can't guarantee that, but its my guess.

Works as promised!
Another reviewer has criticized this product for its strong scent, but I have tried a number of waterless shampoos for my cat, and have found this one to be the least offensive to both my cat and myself. The scent is flowery, but not overpowering, and the lavender *supposedly* relaxes your feline as you work foamy suds into their fur. My cat does not seem to mind the scent (and she is quite sensitive to strong smells), and it wears off after about a day. What I like most about this product, is that it is all natural (no harsh chemicals), and it works. I am allergic to cats, and a weekly usage of this shampoo keeps the dander down to practically nil, which makes for excellent feline/human relations in our household. Great stuff!EDIT: I don't like secret edits, so I will correct myself - it is not "all-natural" as it does contain some preservative chemicals to keep it from going bad. And of course anything with soap-like properties will contain soap, which is (surprise, surprise) a chemical - even if naturally derived. Is soap considered a harsh chemical? Perhaps, but then where is the line drawn?I still submit that this shampoo works as advertised. It cleans the fur and dander without upsetting the cat and my cat has never once been sick as a result of this product. My apologies if I misled anyone - hopefully everyone has done their research prior to purchase.

Good Product, with a Reservation.
I have used on 5 different cats so far. One long haired fluff-ball (who I primary bought it for), two medium haired and two short haired cats. It has improved look and feel of all their coats. (they are indoor/outdoor cats). It initially works best on medium to short haired felines. On the longer haired cat it was a bit stiff for a couple of days until he had been brushed SEVERAL times very thoroughly and also cleaned himself several times, but by the third or 4th day it really had made improvement in feel, "lay", and luster of his coat. The shorter haired ones only took initial and second good brushing to get good results. Can only rate 4 stars as it does have the drawback of initially (even after 10-15 min brushing, of the stiff feeling and looking coat. If you are prepared to do lot of brushing and you will be very happy with this product, if you are not looking for immediate, easy results.

Wonderful Product
I was a little nervous buying this product, because some of the other reviews said that they thought the smell was too strong. I used it for the first time today and I LOVE IT. The smell is amazing and fresh. It is strong, but the smell is good and pure, not like a perfume or chemical scent, and it doesn't bother me. It actually is a pleasant smell. The thing that I really like about this product is that it is in a foam. My cat is afraid of sprays and aerosals. Before I got this, I would spray her with my own body sprays after she went to the bathroom (she smells horrible after that, might be the food, not sure yet)and she would run and hide. With this foam, she didn't seem to care at all. I thought she would hate it because after applying it, her fur was wet like it would be after bathing, but she actually seemed to enjoy it. She acted like she was being brushed, purring and rubbing against me. After applying it, I rubbed her with a towl, like the directions said, and she was dry without feeling oily or sticky from the shampoo. I am very pleased with this product and will continue to use it on my cat.

Easy and stressfree
Very nice and easy to use. Unfortunately it had leaked due to couriers rough handling when he unloaded my large delivery of which this was part of but product was nice when used on my cats
