I used these during a road trip primarily for privacy and also to help block out light on nights when I needed to car camp in a gas station parking lot. During my month-long road trip I slept in my car (instead of a tent) most nights and these are very quick and easy to put on and take off. They allowed me to crack my windows for ventilation without letting bugs in. I can see these holding up really well and being handy to block sunlight during hotter summer days when I'm parked in exposed places. I do wish they came with an option for covering the trunk door window as well but they perform well nonetheless.

These were installed in my 2007 Scion tC. They use small magnets, to attach and I am extremely pleased with them! You can most definitely roll your windows down during use. But for obvious reasons you do not drive them in their closed position. I love these things and am very happy to have them. Easy off, just pull. Easy on to the metal part of the door. You can, as you see in the photo, make the longest edge drape around the inside of the door frame the curtain as close to the door as possible. It does not interfere with the closing of the door. The magnets are very small, but very strong. You easily slide the entire thing back like a shower curtain to get it out of your way. It doesn't seem to have impeded any line of sight for me while driving. I keep them pushed back to the pillar of the door beside my seat/head area. They keep the inside of the car MUCH cooler even though my windows have a dark tint on them.UPDATED REVIEW: October 11, 2021Well the concept was a brilliant idea, but the wear on the rather thin cloth where the magnets sit, is simply too much for it. As you can see by the photos I have posted, it has worn thin and the magnets have come out of their spot. As you can see I have lost 4 magnets. This is from using them as they were designed, and as they show in the video they include with the product description. Reducing the star valued from a 5 to a 3, based on the wear and tear this one has experienced in such a short time of use. If I were to suggest a product change, it would be to make this portion a much sturdier material since it is receiving wear from being used as they are shown in their video example. I absolutely love these things, but this made me sad when I discovered it this afternoon. Four of the magnets have come out, and several more are on their way out.UPDATED AGAIN 11/11/2021: After my first update about the quality and losing magnets, the seller contacted me and offered to replace them free of charge. Which I agreed to and received two new ones! I am working on a way to improve that section that holds the magnets and keep the material from wearing out so quickly.

this is a genius idea!! bought the gray curtains and they fit perfectly in my 2020 rav 4 hybrid for car camping, they go up in minutes with full coverage. they look great too. love that you can attach on 3 sides and pull over for a view when needed. the magnets are pretty strong and work very well with my car’s window frames!

I really like them, but one of them there are several spots in the middle that don't have magnets or the magnets are just not working so it sags. Otherwise I really do like them.

These are great! Exactly what I was looking for. I have a 2019 Durango and they fit perfect. I'm not able to use the magnets on the actual door itself but they hold great on the door frame without issues to closing and opening the door and no strain to the product itself. Which I'm liking more than if they were on the door to be honest, so when I open the door the sun doesn't instantly glare into my napping sons face after driving him around to get him asleep during these sleep regressions. They are also great assisting in privacy as well. You can NOT see through them and as someone who has had to pump and feed my son on the go, It's nice to have that little extra privacy without worry of someone staring.

I have been looking for something like this for about two years. I thought I designed them myself using posterboard but that did not happen at all. However when I saw these while scrolling through Amazon I thought black curtains? Magnets? Ha ha ha yeah right that might work I am pleased to say I was wrong it absolutely does work and I am so impressed that I think I might buy a second set.The cons are that sometimes the curtain may or may not get caught in the door jam of your car. You can see pictures where I had to pin it to the window just so that it lies flat but other than that I have no complaints.These don't fit on newer cars but luckily I can't afford a newer car so my 2004 Nissan works perfectly

This product fits very well with Subaru Forester 2013-2018 (rear windows). Before I used another product that wrapped the whole window inside and outside. On long distance driving, that thing kept flapping like a flag, creating a massive wind noise. This one is installed on the inside only, so definitely no wind noise. And it blocks 99% of light. The dimensions are perfect for my car.

The curtains are not the sliding type but the magnets are inside the material so easy enough to slide them towards the back part of the window without having to worry about scratching the painted part of the window frame (for ease of sliding the curtains, I would recommend holding the top front side of the curtain to gently slide the magnet towards the back). You can also easily pull it back to cover the entire window with relative ease.The installation guide does indicate that you can attach the curtains on the metal window frame of the door or on the vehicle door frame. I used my window frame and not the door frame - not sure how convenient it would be to have a curtain on the door frame while getting in and out of the vehicle but I guess that is a personal preference.Overall the look is decent (inside and out) and for the purpose of what I am using it for, it is just perfect -I am in my vehicle hours at a time in parking lots working on my laptop while my kids are in dance studios and hockey practices so having privacy and also keeping the sunlight away from the screen helps - and yes great for catching up on sleep…I can’t speak to the durability of this product on constant exposure to sunlight but with proper care, and for what I’m using it for, I am guessing it should be fine.

I have a Jeep, and it’s very hard to pick anything cause the car is just not like all others. I spent hours trying to find a sunshade that would fit. And this is the only one! Easy put on and take off, easy to move to the side. Does not touch windows so windows open freely. I assume it’s easy washable too, just not in machine cause magnets lol.High quality silky fabric, many small magnets along top and sides. Just an amazing item!It looks gorgeous, too! Like my new Jeep-Limo!!Getting two more to cover all around :)
