Coma

I can’t even pay attention to the movie because of the terrible voice acting and dubbing. There was no indication that the movie was dubbed before I rented it. Why isn’t the option to watch it in the original Russian on the same video?? I feel ripped off.

Normally I avoid dubbed movies, since they can be irritating when the dubbers are not proficient voice actors and the translations are clumsily done. Coma, however did a good job of dubbing and the voice actors seems into the movie situations without missing the mood subtleties. Translation and adaptation to English was not bad at all. This allowed me to enjoy the story, albeit cringing a couple of times at minor plot voids. The effects we quite good, and the story concept solid enough to keep one entertained. The enjoyable production values, story and CGI well overcame any issue with the dubbing which was - as noted - better than expected.

Good plot, some trist too, the special effects and images are amazing. Charaters are relatable and the so-called reapers are freaky looking. A place where your memries and imagination can change the World, oretty cool. I liked it.

There was this weird clicking/buzzing noise & the dialog did not match up to the actors/actresses mouths, it was off by like 1/2 a second. We tried to pause & restart video with no luck. I was casting from my cell phone to the TV so we tried to troubleshoot the sound on the cell phone too with no luck. We had to watch with the captions on to be able to make out what the characters were saying. TV speakers are fine with all other media we've watched. The movie itself was pretty good so I gave 2 stars, that clicking noise just got annoying

Really just a spin-off of Inception. It was ok. Interesting to a point, then the ending just got all.... bad. No one knows how to end a movie anymore, or come up with something original for that matter.

The first 15 minutes were very good, some of the CGI was very good, and I didn't mind the Russian dubbed in voices, but the acting was horrible, the plot was predictable, and the ending stunk.

This is one of my new favorite movies. I LOVE trippy movies, and this one is amazing!! The concept and questions it makes you think about are subjects I enjoy, and make this one I will be watching over and over again. It was worth every penny, and I'm recommending it to my friends. I REALLY hope they make a sequel!!! 🤞

I am on a Russian scifi binge. All of the recent movies, Attraction 1 & 2, Sputnik, and now this... Coma, are all sensational flicks. I truly enjoyed them. They are different from most foreign flicks.... which is why I like them.

Excellent film which I have long been looking for. Effects are amazing, story intriguing and the English dubbing first rate. Hopefully there are more such films to come from Russia.

This... This movie was supposed to be out by 2014! Then 2016!Then 2019! And by that point I was very much afraid we wouldn't be able to find a disc copy of it out of Russia.Coma is everything its trailer promised, and even a bit more. Not much though.Maybe they should have kept the [spoiler] out of the promotional material.In fact, do yourself a favour and watch this before any trailer.The best way to describe this movie might be to tell it is an Anti-Matrix. Like the reverse King Arthur, it puts the sword back into the stone. A lot of people have compared it to Inception, and in a way they are right. Just don't expect this to be a pale copy. Outside of the exploded architectural nature, this movie is very much its own. In ways, it would be closer the the first LEGO movie, if there existed a gritty version of it that was devoid of pop-culture references and sitcom humour. Much more about human nature itself, and maybe just a bit playing with how we force ourselves to see the world.In many ways, it's better than a lot of stuff we had on this side of the ocean... for a while now.But it also is well built enough that you might see it coming faster than it unfolds.That also is a trick of the mind.The sensation of comfort is played only to be judged here.If you are into dream-like worlds, fantastical stories about a group of heroes, and villains that are actually right...Then this might be for you.

If you remember that movie. The Russian are Coming The Russian are Coming. see this movie.this mind bending sleep Coma is something you wouldn’t want to wake up from.what an incredible concept this Russian director came up with. man they are improving on that front.it almost has that Inception feel but on a much broader scale than that one.even though the acting is suspect and not so good but boy they sure made up for it with it’s dystopian effect.Like I Said It’s Mind-bending. wish I’d seen this on the big screen.

Very interesting movie, I enjoyed it very much.
