I have been wearing an inexpensive brand of panties from Walmart for several decades without the problems I am encountering with your product. I originally ordered five pair on June the 6th. I was satisfied with the fit and then proceeded to order an additional five pair on June 10th. I am very unhappy to find that several pairs have developed runs from the seams around the crotch. These are only three months old. The ones I used to wear NEVER had these problems, and I wore them for years. Unfortunately they have been discontinued or I would still be wearing them. Your product cost considerably more, and quality wise are VERY inferior. Do you stand behind your product?

Here's the simple truth; I am a straight male looking for all day comfort. These provide wonderful comfort and all the support needed. My jean size is 35, I had worn these in size 6 for years but recently opted to go two sizes larger for a little extra room. I still occasionally wear the 6's but really do enjoy the freedom of movement in the larger size 8's.Whether male or female, consider giving these a try. Nice feeling fabric, support, and they wash up well and have the quality VF is known for to last years. Ladies, buy a couple for your boyfriend or husband and dare him to live in the comfort zone.

The review I left two years ago (below) still stands. However, I have just received another order, but did not get what the picture showed. I see a review farther down from a couple of days ago complaining about the same thing. The picture shows uncovered waistband elastic. I received covered waistband elastic. It does not hold up - it gets all stretched out long before the panties wear out. The picture shows what happens to the covered waistband; it gets so baggy it won't stay up. I will return these. Very disappointing.Harder and harder to find -- cotton briefs with old-fashioned style that stay where they are supposed to without riding up. I hope Vanity Fair keeps making these. The double fabric crotch area has gotten smaller than it was years ago, but I guess you expect that -- cheaper and cheaper quality with cost remaining the same (or more!) Still though, these are the best cotton briefs I have found.

I PURCHASED A SET OF THREE VANITY FAIR BRIEFS #15712. I ALWAYS WASH NEW UNDERWEAR BEFORE WEARING.I OPENED THE PLASTIC BAG AND DROPPED THE THREE PAIRS IN MY WASHING MACHINE. I NOTICE THERE WAS ONLY ONE TAG SAYING SET OF THREE. EACH PAIR DID NOT HAVE A TAG ON IT AS THEY USUALLY DO WHEN YOU BUY THEM. WHEN I WAS HANGING THEM UP I SAW THE WHITE PAIR HAD A LARGE POOP STAIN IN THE CROTCH.I JUST THREW THEM ALL OUT. WHAT KIND OF PIGS TAKE THIS BACK AND SELL IT? DISGUSTING. I WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH HEALTH DEPARTMENT. THIS CAN'T BE TOLERATED. i believe amazon is re packaging returned items.

Okay, so as others have noted, you have to go down 2 full sizes for an accurate fit. I normally get a 9 and it was enormous. Ordered a 7 and it's perfect. These are full-on granny panties, so if that's what you're looking for, look no further. Nylon is nice and silky, but there is no spandex, so they don't give much if they're tight. I do wish the pricing was more consistent across the colors. Overall, if you can score some for under $7 a pair, they are pretty nice.

These used to be a staple for me, then I moved away to cheaper brands. Others have said these are luxe, and sold elsewhere for a lot higher cost, which is true. They are very well made, with high quality fabrics, and you can feel the difference. And thank goodness they are shaped with a smaller waist and wider hips (too many are not any more, why), so they fit without bunching, binding or sagging. The fuller cut means no VPLs. It does seem the sizes are much larger than I remember. I ordered my size, and then ended up reordering smaller than I normally wear. This is not a real problem, as I could tell hubby I went down two sizes, haha. The yarn used in the nylon is cool and comfortable. The gusset used to be dyed to match, but not so any more, at least with the violet. They are preactical, comfortable, and classy, with a timeless beauty that is not old fashioned at all. Treat yourself, they will last a long time, and you are worth the the fit and finish of some of the finest.

These are perfect panties for apple figured Women who have thinner legs and don't want a little belly peaking out of Huge leg openings. They wash nice and are comfortable to wear. But use a size chart and measure for best fit.

The fit was great not tight at all, very comfortable. I have bought Vanity Fair underwear for several yrs. Always had good quality. I bought a different style until recently. I bought this style of VF undies because the other style had very poor stitching in the same place. (were the cotton material meets the nylon material) Out of the 6 pairs only 2 did not unravel. SO, I bought these 3 pack of a different style thinking maybe its the style (other had lace) These pairs did the same thing in the same place. These are plain, all same color (the other style were different colors & single pair orders) By the second use, starts to come unraveled. No tearing, or ripping. Just comes undone. All 3 pairs. The older pairs of VF underwear I have, that were bought many yrs ago (elastic is worn out) that I wanted to replace, the stitching is still good.I am so very disappointed, I will be looking for a different brand. Vanity Fair no longer high quality.
