Worth the price. My wife and I have been using it for months now. It mixes clean, no lumps, although a bit foamy in a shaker bottle. Taste is good and the results are clear. We're not cross-fitters or body builders, just regular folks looking to maintain a helathy lifestyle.The fact that ALL the ingredients are considered actual foods by the FDA and the bag has nutrition facts on it speaks volumes. Go pick up any other protein powder and I can almost guarantee you that it's going to have "Supplement facts" meaning that it has next to zero oversight as far as what's inside. All ingredients sourced in the USA and it's a small startup company. A homerun in my opinion.You get what you pay for in this flooded market.

I spend literally hours searching the internet for the "best protein supplement" every time I run out. And I never buy the same thing twice - because there is always something wrong with the product. I bought this one because of the description and the promise that this is the highest quality product on the market. As always, I had doubts, but I've now taken this stuff through the paces and can't recommend it enough. First off - the powder is softer and lighter than others and as a result, it mixes better. Also, it doesn't feel heavy in my stomach after drinking it. Because of this, I have not only taken powder after workouts, but in advance of long training runs where I need protein, but can't afford to have difficulties with digestion that could lead to cramps or other stomach issues. The packaging is also great - fits easily in my gym bag, so I never forget my protein at home. Finally, I don't have to google "best protein" before I make my next purchase - I'm just going to hit "buy again."

First let me say that I am an avid Crossfitter, and was looking for something to help me recover from brutal workouts. Before I purchased these products I messaged American Gainz from their website and asked about sourcing, testing, and qa/qc. I found that I was corresponding directly with the owner and was impressed - information was very transparent and the test results he provided showed a clean product, so I placed an order. After trying the PB Gainz / Tactical Recovery combo and using it for approx 2 weeks, it is by far the best post workout supplement I have used. The combo I use gives me 25 grams hydrolyzed whey protein, 5 grams plant based protein, 11 grams BCAAs, mixes easy, isn’t thick, and tastes just like a reese’s peanut butter cup. Its a little more expensive than what you get at walmart, but you get what you pay for, and american gainz is so worth it!

I’ve used this protein for almost three years now and love it. It’s the best tasting stuff I’ve ever had, and I believe its some of the healthiest stuff out there. I am like a pavlovian dog once my workout ends for my whole milk and tactical recovery shake. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical when they changed the formula, and the first couple times I didn’t like it as much. But now I like it even better than the earlier stuff. Great buy!

Been CrossFitting for five years, and I always thought Progenex was the top of the line and everything else was second to it. American Gainz protein easily tops anything else I've ever tried. The very first time I tried this I was like is this really protein powder. I was amazed how clean and tasty it was. I use to struggle drinking protein shakes because of the texture and bitter taste. When I tried this with the peanut butter powder I thought I was drinking a Reese cup. I always have this right after my workout and I feel amazing.
