I have very oily hair. My daughter has very thick hair. At least once a week, I wash my hair with this. My hair has not gotten overly oily since I have been using it, which tells me that it is deep cleaning as it should.I recommend

I use this once a week for build up and to clarify. It works great!

This shampoo is great! If you wear a lot of products in your hair and need it to be removed, this shampoo will do just that! Scent is nice too.

it’s so wild to me how hard it can be to find a clarifying shampoo in stores. Sulfates aren’t all bad, and I personally need them in my routine to rid myself of the build up of products I use daily as well as to thoroughly clean my scalp. This works as advertised. Smells a bit of green apple? Which I don’t love, but it’s subtle so I don’t care much. Suds up reeeaaal nice and left my hair feeling squeaky clean! Obviously you’re going to want to follow up with a conditioner and/or leave-in, but I have to say, my hair feels amazing now. Before using I could feel this gummy-ness to my hair? And couldn’t get my fingers through it. It’s so soft and light feeling now!FYI I have like, no other experience with a clarifying shampoo other than the neutrogena clarifying shampoo (ordinarily I would just use any shampoo with sulfates), but I can say with confidence that this beats that product x10.

I wish this was the type of shampoo I can use on my hair often. This is a clarifying shampoo. This means you are only supposed to use it once a month to remove build up. While I was washing and detangling my 4c hair. It brought my curl patterns to life. My hair was so soft I honestly expected this to dry my hair out but it didn’t !. I’ve never used a product that says for all hair type and actually means it. This really felt like it is for all hair types. My hair felt clean. And my hair also felt healthy.

First of all everything about this product is absolutely first class now with that out of the way I have been reading some of the negative comments on this product so I want to clear some things u need to understand before u buy it. This is a clarifying shampoo the purpose of it is to clear all product build up and anything else that may damage ur hair. Yes this means it is drying however ur only supposed to use it once a week and follow it up with a conditioner although I highly recommend using a hair mask since hair masks need to be used once a week as well so why not incorporate it into ur routine?. NEVER EVER use this product if u have color treated hair in fact avoid it at all costs. If u use this shampoo more than once a week ur going to run into alot of problems but use it properly and ur going to see a dramatic difference.

I bought this because I have been unable to find Neutrogena clarifying shampoo. I wasn't expecting much, but this works great. Cleans the buildup easily. And has nice fragrance.
