LOVE
I bought my mom an Apple Watch for Christmas and she loved being able to track her steps and all of the health features but HATED that is was connected to her phone and getting all the notifications which kept her from wearing it. This watch is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to be detached from technology and their phone but also wants the health tracking features! Fits great’s super comfortable and has great features. Also looks sleek and cute without being bulky. 10/10 rec

Flaked off, discolored, and stopped working
The media could not be loaded. Purchased new March 2024, quit working October 2024. For the first couple months the watch worked for what I needed. Over time the appearance started to fail. Today, out of nowhere it started beeping one continous beep, and then turned off... and then back on. I keep trying to reset it, but it isn't working. Video included to show how it's responding.

Running watch
Inaccurate distance calculations. If you expect any accuracy for distance that you’ve run you may want to choose a different brand. Not a very smart watch. Other than that it keeps good time.

bought as a gift
I bought this for my daughter for her birthday because she asked for that specific watch. When it arrived the box it was in looked a little bit beat up but so far my daughter hasn't had any complaints about it and in fact seems to be pleased.

Just above basic - updated -
I bought this watch specifically because I wanted a wearable step counter without the extras of a smart watch (so no bluetooth, wifi, or apps). It's just above a basic digital watch, which is perfect for my needs. I did have to Google set up instructions to change the date & time as well as inputting some basic height and weight data. I'm sure it's used to more accurately estimate calories burned (which is also displayable). As compared to my phone's set tracker, the numbers are close enough. Since I don't always have my phone on me, the watch does have a higher step count for today by about 800. Overall, it's exactly what I wanted.-Update-So I've had this watch for just over a month (9/11 to 10/21) and I'm dropping my review from 5 to 4 stars. It still counts steps and keeps track of time which are the two major functions I wanted. But unfortunately the back light function broke. In complete darkness, when I press the button to light it, you can see a small blue light in the corner, but the screen remains dark. So you can't read the time when it's dark. All other functions seem to work. I've worn this watch daily since I got it and have done nothing extreme that could have cause damage. I expected a Timex watch to hold up better.

I should have listened to the reviews
I bought this for the HR monitor and that is not super reliable. The indiglo ceased functioning. When it did work, the indiglo function overrides the HR result, so you cannot see HR at night. Ridiculous. When I briefly dipped in the lake with it twice this past week, it began malfunctioning. You are supposed to be able to snorkle but not dive.I cannot re-set the time/date function and it malfunctions when you try to re-set features.Digit 4 is partially displaying, it flashes all 2's or 5's and will not re-set.I also agree the band turns grey. The watch lasted 5 months and no longer useful.Don't be like me, pay attention to reviews and save your money!

Not Great
It never came with a user manual. I never used any of the functions because they always seemed complicated. The HR never worked either. The chime would chime during strange hours and I was unable to turn it off at all. After 6 months the whole thing stopped working. It just started resetting itself over and over. I am unable to use it anymore and now need to buy another watch. Online the manual says the battery should only be changed by a jeweler or other professional.

Perfect watch with heart rate monitor
All the current watches have to be recharged. Not this bad boy, takes a lickin’ and keeps on ticking’. I love the reliability and worry free battery. Size is just right for my wife’s petite wrist. Timex Rules!

Less fussy than a fitbit
It's exactly what I wanted - a watch that counts steps and can read my heart rate. It doesn't need charging because it has an easy to change battery. I don't miss all the fuss of trying to sync and update my old fitbit. It feels good to go back to a Timex.

Junky product for brand
The gold around the rim started chipping almost immediately. The heart rate function was difficult to use vs a smart watch. It was hard to set in general. Randomly kicked the bucket today after owning for 10 months. Battery still works but can’t set the time. The band held up nice probably the best part of the whole product

Step counter was the reason to buy it and it works like a charm
The watch has quite a unique feature of a step counter among LCD digital watches. I know this feature exists on many smart watches, but that comes with a need to charge it every day, while this one is powered by a single button CR2032 battery that needs a replacement once a year or even a couple of years. That was the reason why we wanted it and no other brand provides such a feature in the line of lady's watches besides Timex.

Timex is behind the times
This really missed the mark. My Timex Ironman from 20 years ago was great and lasted for many years. This one, without the chest strap, does not measure HR and should not even have the brand Timex. So sad.
