No idea why some people had issues with it.... My 13 yr old daughter put it together by herself in 20 mins. Very good quality and price. Glad I took a chance and bought it.......

Got two of these desks for our sons to use for virtual learning during quarantine. Much sturdier than I expected and so pretty!! Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Very stable, strong & super smooth materials all around. Extremely compact, doesn't take up much room at all (mines is in my bedroom since I work from home) I love the color of the desk face itself it is a very warm brown w/ hues of lighter & darker browns throughout ! I absolutely loved how simple & easy it is to put this desk together, took no more than 10-15mins & literally only requires common sense lol. Sadly the instructions are a bit confusing towards the end since it does not include how to construct the bars in the back of the desk (check photos) but again *COMMON SENSE REQUIRED* definitely not mandatory, but you can save $$ by putting it together yourself versus spending almost $70 (idk about you all but I can definitely purchase a couple things with $70) to have someone put it together for you!

This is a re-do review. My desk arrived with a chipped corner but the seller was very attentive and worked on a resolution that didn’t require either of us to pay to ship it back. Fortunately, the chip is on the bottom of the desktop so it looks pretty good.As for assembly, I did it pretty quickly with my cordless drill. Since the top goes on last, I decided to “loose” assemble the frame and tighten everything up after the top was on...and strait. I did have to drill new holes on one side of the top because they didn’t line up evenly. My 10-year old son was not going for a crooked desk. It was easily fixed and now he has a minimal desk that can sit anywhere in the house for schoolwork.

It is beautiful desk with good quality materials. It’s just screws and the materials. It comes with everything you need. It came well packaged as well. Overall it is easy to assemble. Definitely would have been easier with two people. The instructions are a picture and it’s more using common sense and referencing the picture.

This desk is great and serves my needs. It looks like the picture. Downside is the instructions that come with it are really bad. Use the video on the Amazon product page. (The page where you order this item.) The video is one of the pictures listed with the item. It will say that the screws that go in the back holding the vertical rods on are Philipps head screws. They are not. They are the shortest screws that use the Allen wrench.

Got this desk for my husband who is working from our bedroom during COVID-19 time. It is just perfect for the little space we have in our bedroom for a desk. But not only that, it really gives our bedroom a contemporary feel with the combination of wood and metal. Looks beautiful and my husband enjoys sitting at a nice place for now.The assembly took only 10 minutes, self explanatory, and easy. I am so glad I purchased it. Should have done it much earlier :).

After trying twice to order another style of low-cost desk for my daughter's apartment, and having both of those shipments arrive damaged due to poor packaging – I selected this desk and crossed my fingers. I did see a review that mentioned that this desk came well packaged – so I felt good about that. When it arrived, the box was in good shape, and when opened, all parts were in well-packaged layers and looked great. The assembly instructions were difficult to read, but the design is so simple, you don't need them. Just make sure to place the drilled cross bars in the right locations and the non-drilled one at the front, desk edge. In all, it assembled in about 15 minutes. I do suggest keeping the top cross support bolts a little loose until the desktop is in place and aligned – then tighten up and add the final screws to secure it all. It is plenty sturdy for expected use. I wouldn't suggest standing on it, but if assembled right and kept tightened up over time, it should last for years. It's a great, simple desk for the money.
