Super lightweight
We bought this for our 8 year old. Fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Covers her head perfectly and has amazing adjustability.

Great features, good looking helmet
Long time mountain biker and skateboarder; this is the second of these helmets I've bought for my kids. Great color selection and adjustment features. Very simple to dial in a secure fit.

Great helmet but a few scratches when delivered
Awesome helmets. One son had one already and it’s great so when my other son needed a helmet, we opted to get another of the same. They seem to be comfortable and high quality and the boys like them. I can’t tell if they’re painted or how the color is applied but unfortunately there were some scratches in it when it was delivered. If it weren’t for the scratches, I would give five stars.

Love this helmet
I now have this same helmet for my 6 year old (she's on her second of this brand) and my one year old. While it is quite heavy for the toddler, it is a very sturdy helmet. I've purchased so many other helmets in the past, and ive never been satisfied. This not only covers the whole head, but it also has two different padding options included. It is comfortable to wear, and sits appropriately on the head.

We wanted to like this helmet
My older son has the protective knee/elbow/wrist guards from the same company and we liked them, so I decided to order this helmet for my younger son who has outgrown his toddler helmet. His head measured right at 20in, which is the largest size for the Small and smallest size for the Medium, so we decided to go with the Medium. The helmet does look nice, although I feel like Schwinn helmets that we had previous were better constructed. The plastic felt a little cheap and looked like it would easily warp. It is lightweight too, but I worry that it could be because it isn't constructed as well. The Medium was unfortunately a bit too big for my son, but I think we could have managed. The problem was that we felt the helmet was a bit shallow (it looked shallow on him and he's only 4 years old), and the back sides jutted out to the side too much. Perhaps that's how this helmet is, and maybe it was a safety feature? I'm not sure, but it made my son's head look huge, and it just didn't fit well.

Great helmet for the money
Bought this helmet for my 2 year old son. He has a small head and we could not find one in store that fit him right, this is a great helmet for the price and the twisted nob on the back makes for quick and easy size adjustment as he grows or if another child needs to use it

Ball shape not egg?
My 10yro daughter was so excited for this helmet-purple! Sadly, it will be returned. Why is a helmet perfectly round rather than oblong? There are huge gaps on the side of the head, only tightens front and back. When adjusted, this leaves the helmet wobbly and unstable= UNSAFE. Changing pads will not snug the sides. Fits the head in measurement, does not properly snug to the entire head (I tried it on my own tiny head and it feels horrible, our Bell and Giro's fit beautifully). Upon further inspection, the shell is also already cracked right by the strap button.*pictured beside a Bell helmet on the right.
