Smells great! Not too strong, but very noticeable, double wicks work like a charm. 10/10

Smells Amazing!
Smell is amazing and the candle last for a very long time. The candle does have a very strong vanilla like smell so be aware of that. Maybe the ghost of a baker got into mine, not really sure.

It smells like sugar cookies or candies
Well, I suppose that there are some people that are ghosts in a cemetery that made amazing candy or sugar cookies back in the day, so this is quite the surprising scent.I put it in the kitchen because it smells like food.

Burns great; Scent is different, but not bad
Village Candles burn excellently and evenly, and have a great scent throw. That said, this candle doesn’t really smell as described. Profile is:Top: Incense, Cinnamon, Fir, Needles, Elemi, Black PepperMid: Coconut, Clove, CoffeeBase: Tonka, Vanilla, White Musk, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, PatchouliReally, though, what it smells like is a vanilla-flavored latte. I don’t get any clove or sandalwood or incense. It’s not (un)earthy-smelling—it’s gourmand. I don’t mind it, but anyone looking for something spooky-smelling might be disappointed.

Amazing!!! But if your sensitive to strong scents don't get
This is my first time ever buying these candles and I got both ghost cemetery and haunted mansion and I LOVE both!I read the reviews on ghost cemetery and how it's a good strong scent to fill the house so I bought it and they were right my family loves it! It's pretty much a cookie or cake scent. Anytime my family comes over they think I'm baking.Haunted mansion is more subtle but will still fill a room just not as much in your face like ghost cemetery. Haunted mansion has a men's cologne or men's deodorant scent.I love both after working for a candle shop so I love strong scented candles but these definitely aren't for people who get headaches or are sensitive to scentsWould reccomend to my candle loversWouldn't reccomend to my sensitive to smell peopleYou've been warned ⚠️ 🤣

Not a Halloween scent
This is exactly what other people stated - this is almost a gourmand candle. It does smell like maple syrup and it's not very Halloweeny. From the name, I would expect smokiness (ghosts) and notes of earthiness (the cemetery). The other two Village Candle Halloween scents are great (Haunted Mansion and Pumpkin Scarecrow). This clearly needs a reformulation to match the season.

Arrived Leaking all over the box, melted...
Leaking all over the box, melted, disfigured, and unusable. Cute for Halloween and smelled fabulous. Packaged nicely too. However, unable to burn it. See pics attached. I live in Texas so I guess it melted with the hot temps here. I have ordered a lot of candles from Amazon and never had this happen. Cant just get a replacement or refund, have to return it. Cloying scent
The scent is really cloying and permeates everything. if you like a sickly sweet scent, go for this one. Not true to description as there did not appear to be woody scents.

Seasonal scent
Village Candles are always a win, but this one is above and beyond! Smells like Halloween. Can't really describe the smell..But it smells like trick or treating. Strong,long lasting scent that makes my home smell spooky and cozy! Highly recommend
