Good quality. Could be easily adjusted to grind finer for espresso
The product is very good overall. There is a simple solution for finer grinding, successfully tested by me:- take off the grinding ring- unscrew the two screws and separate the metal and the plastic part of the ring- put something, might be some folded aluminum foil, between the metal and the plastic part of the ring- the metal part should be lifted 0.3 - 0.5mm with it- screw the metal to the plastic part together againNow I have very fine grind for espresso and Turkish at the cost of slight smaller coarse

Good value grinder
I bought this grinder after struggling with a hand operated grinder for a while - coffee was becoming a chore rather than a pleasure, so an electric grinder was definitely needed. I've never heard of this brand, but online reviews seemed favourable, and the price was good - I paid £49.99.The grinder is simply packaged, just a box and polystyrene packaging, but no other plastic. I was pleased how compact the unit is, a lot of grinders I looked at were tall with large hoppers for coffee beans. I grind beans on demand and so didn't want a large machine that can hold a kilogram of beans! The unit is simple to operate, with a lever to alter grind size from fine to coarse. There are click-stops for this, so it's not infinitely adjustable. The steps seemed fine for me though. I grind for an Aeropress and have it a little bit coarser than the medium setting. You can grind by number of cups, or just just use the on-off switch - nice and simple.I've never had an electric grinder before and I was surprised just how quick it is - 20g of coffee is done in just a few seconds, impressive. In use it's quite noisy, I've not had anything to compare it too so I don't know if it's a a particularly noisy machine, but it reminds me of an electric hedge trimmer. The coffee itself is ground well enough for me, I'm no coffee expert but I'm happy with the size and evenness of the grind. The only real negative I have about the machine is that the coffee is affected by static. Whether it's because of the plastic components or the speed of the grind I don't know, but the coffee sticks to everything and can be quite messy. The good:• Good price• Very fast• CompactThe bad:• Noisy• Static• Plastic receptacleOverall, very pleased with this machine - recommended!

Very good grinder!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have always been someone who enjoyed drinking coffee, but never had the guts to try the whole process.I decided to take the plunge and buy this grinder as well as an espresso machine. I was definitely surprised by how advanced machines like this are! This coffee grinder gets the grind perfect every time! There are lots of settings to choose from - depending on how coarse or fine you like your coffee. I enjoy drinking espresso and chose extra fine! The grinder works very quietly (compared to other grinders) and it is also quite quick with the grinding process! The grinder is also very easy to clean and has lots of detachable parts (see pictures). The grinding components are very sharp and the coffee is always evenly grinded! It also looks very stylish for all types of kitchens!

Fantastic grind quality - so much better than a disc burr - fantastic price
I never leave reviews normally, but oh wow this grinder is SO much better than the old Krups GVX231 that just died on me. I never did get a decent fine grind from the Krups (it was still coarse). My first espresso from the Sboly was rich, tasty with a good crema, the grind was fine and uniform. Brilliant. The difference is that the Sboly has a proper conical burr (the Krups is a plate burr) which gives the finer grind. At £59.99 this is half the price of most other entry level conical burr grinders and not that much more than the Krups. What is not to like? The dimensions in the description are for the box it comes in, the grinder itself is a very similar size to the Krups, just with a wider hopper.
