I love how much my (senior) dog loves these treats! She has not necessarily been food driven for 16.5 years. I particularly love that they are born from a responsible, small dog-loving company! There is a story about how the business started, and how ingredients are regionally sourced, healthy and clean. The first three ingredients are wholesome and not some kind of scary, or scientifically made food treat that should not even be digested. Smart Cookie Barkery, Great Lakes Duck & Squash is grain free, soft textured, small batch per bag (about 45 handcrafted soft and chewy dog treats, or 5 oz.) it is made with Duck, Butternut Squash, and Lentils as the main ingredients. Dog food companies nation wide - even the popular names - have so many questionable products used in making their food and treats, it's nightmarish and unhealthy. There are stories that would shock any consumer. I want my dog to love the food and treats I select for her. So this product comes fueled by Smart Cookie Barkery, with an obsession for nutrition and functional ingredients - a consolation to me and a promise for a continued healthy future.

My dogs think these are GOLD. They're kind of expensive so I only get a bag every once in awhile but our Aussie gets so excited over them! We don't feed our dogs anything with grains and this is definitely the most loved brand. The rabbit one is the favorite !

My dogs love these treats so much I decided to put them on auto shipping. There are a great size for training my dogs and are easily broken in half for my smaller dog.

I gave this a middle of the road rating for a couple reasons: one dog wouldn't consider eating them (I have 3 goldens 2 thought they were fine to eat), the treats were unexpectedly large, and they were kind of crumbly. It as odd that the one wouldn't eat them because all three dogs will happily eat sweet potato and rabbit (as separate items).

Our 2 heelers love them! they are great for training or just for being good pups. I wish the pieces were smaller but I just break them in to smaller pieces.
