Good value for money
Great shoe. Nice and light. Bit stiff to start with but soon eased and now are really comfy. Would recommend.

A company that values it's customer!
These originally were ok, comfortable and kept my feet dry, however must have got a dodgy pair and began letting in water when I got in touch with the supplier they resolved the matter very quickly! thank you.

These Look As Those They Are 'Outlet' Quality
Having had these for about six weeks and walking about 20 miles per week, let's deal with the positives first. They are available in half sizes, so none of this either being half a size too small or half size too big to fit, which is good. The other positive is they do indeed seem to be waterproof, based on getting soaked a couple of times whilst out walking and also having to traipse through some lengthy puddles at times. As for the negatives, my initial feelings from first wearing them is that they seem to have the quality that you would expect from a manufacturers 'outlet' store, where goods are sold cheaply because the quality isn't 100%. The main issue I've had, and never experienced this ever with shoes, trainers or boots, and that is that the tongue on them is too short. As a result, within about 100 metres, the laces across the top eyelet are digging into you, as they ride over the tongue, which means that I have to tie them without using the top eyelet and then they just don't feel as snug. The second negative may be as a result of the first, but after only six weeks, one of the laces has started to disintegrate, with the outer covering coming apart, which then makes it more awkward to tie the laces as they won't go through the eyelets because the outer covering is bunching up. I can best describe the laces from the start as being very rough (like a rope with an outer thin layer), and as a result you could never get a truly tight knot. My last pair of trainers, whilst worn right down after several years of use are still on the original laces, so I'll save these before I bin them.UPDATE as of 20th November. Another four weeks and the replacement lace has also started to fray. Not only that, but both of them now feel oversize. They were size 9.5 but now feel like their size 11, and no amount of retying the laces help. I've even resorted to wearing a pair of thick winter socks and they still feel loose. Walking on level ground is bearable enough, but walking on any sort of slope and you feel your feet moving around in them.

Comfy, solid, good value.. not very waterproof
I wore these shoes for the first time today, walking around town during heavy rain. They were stiff at first but became comfortable quickly. They felt solid and durable. I walked about 6 miles in an urban setting (walking in town not a walk in the country). It did include maybe 70 feet walking across wet grass. The shoes started letting in a little water around the top of the toes and laces towards the end of the 6 miles. I’ve worn expensive branded waterproof walking shoes which have let in water much quicker than this. My verdict is that these are fine for urban walking if it’s not too wet but I wouldn’t wear them hiking in the country if rain is likely

Really great, comfortable and sturdy but lightweight.
Not long had these walking shoes but have used them every day for our regular walks and also for an 8 mile hike on the first day I used them. Instantly comfortable, and impressed with sturdy construction and good materials - not been tested yet for waterproofing as weather has been dry so far. Fit is great (with thick socks), when delivered it gives the US size on the box, but there are clear instructions/conversions available in the product information to convert to UK sizes. Its early days, and we'll see how durable they are, but am very hopeful. These seems to be a very good buy, very pleased thus far.

Not expecting too much from these
01/09/23These shoes are very lightweight, they fit ok and they look good, the first thing I saw when I opened the box was spare laces attatched to the shoes which made me think the makers of these shoes are either confident the shoes will outlive the original laces or the laces are so cheap that they won't last very long, when I tried on the shoes and went to tie the laces it became clear straight away the laces are NOT going to last very long at all, they feel very very cheap they're not smooth at all but very lumpy this could be intensional by design but seems very weird if it is.I've given the shoes 4 stars for now because as they say "don't judge a book by it's cover", I'll give them a few month to bed in and return with a more informative update to this review depending on the results and append appropriately.

Outstanding quality
For walking distance, these low rise boots are first class, very well made and great durability, I've used them for 6 month's now and they're still holding together as good as the day i had them, and comfort wise they are spongy, for want of a better word, just great all-round, highly recommend

My second pair for a reason - Not the most expensive nor the least...
I've gotten my second pair now of the low rise AND I've also got the high top hiking boots so I've got some good experiences with these.Likes:- Good price point for hiking shoes/boots- Good wear (I hike weekly and do approx. 45km - 65km in all terrain)- The side profile is good, after all those km's I put on them over the past 4 months (same boots) the profile is now showing signs of wear which is to be expected over rocks, water and mud.- Water proof...yyyeeess but I do clean them and re-spray monthly so I would not rely on the factory waterproofing to last for many months.- Comfort, again I hike A LOT and in hiking socks these are very comfy, in a marathon single day hike I put on 22km's and it was not an easy hike, spent a lot of time in shale and loose dirt and a few streams, I did notice a very minor amount of moisture starting to work it's way in but given that, no problem.DISLIKES:- Less 'plastiky' looking side profile it does crack as mine have and I expect these to as well- Better gripping sole, materials are so inexpensive, this is an area I'd love to see improvement on- Liner on the heel, this is an area that most shoes lack solid construction, these are no different.SUMMARY:I'd get them, and I do get them and I will continue to get them for a reason. I used to wear out a $200 pair of hiking boots each season, and I do of these as well but for 1/3 of the price for the same thing!
