I am not an "expert" in balsamic vinegars, but I wanted something that was a step up from the grocery store offerings. Well, I hit the jackpot with this product. Even before you open the bottle, the presentation is stunning. There is a corked spout included (sealable) and the bottle itself has a gorgeous shape. This would make an outstanding gift. The vinegar is viscous without any bitterness. There is so much flavor, you could use this product without additional seasonings. I can imagine this vinegar as a glaze for sea bass. You can spend a LOT more for balsamic vinegar, but I doubt that most palates could taste a difference. This is a definite re-purchase.Highest recommendation.

I liked the taste but the thickness is not great. I do not understand why the design of the cork adapter with a spout...it is nice but it leaks thru the side ridge...tried multiple times to lodge the cork deep inside the bottle neck but still leaking...that's a shame because it would have been nice to have the option.

The first time I bought this Balsamic Vinegar I was living in Europe. There are so many different types and quality to choose from. I went on a self taste test. AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE BALSAMIC. IT IS THICK BUT NOT TO HEAVY AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SWEETNESS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT WITH HEIRLOOM TOMATOES BASIL AND FRESH BURRATA CHEESE. ALTHOUGH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THE GOOD QUALITY OF BURRATA AS YOU DO IN ITALY, FRANCE AND GERMANY. Pleased to find it on AmAZON.EveN as a basic I love this Balsamic on cottage cheese or drizzled over fresh strawberries.Karen

Went to a restaurant & loved the balsamic they used in a dish so much I requested the kitchen to tell me what kind they were using. It was this. It’s so good. I’m so bummed it’s no longer in stock after our initial order. It is a really nice, thick balsamic reduction with excellent flavor. I use this for table balsamic (like a plate of olive oil/balsamic for bread or for a caprese oil/balsamic/garlic dressing). It’s WAY too delicious to use for cooking.Please restock!

My brother initially gave me a bottle of this some time ago and I didn't have a chance to use it right away but once I did, I was hooked forever! I just recently replaced my old bottle and after reading some of the reviews that it wasn't the same I was hesitant to buy two but went ahead and did anyway. I'm so glad I did as I find it just as amazing as the product my brother gave me a few years ago. I use it along with olive oil on my salad every night and find myself hugely looking forward to it as a result; it's that good! Yum!!

I never knew there was a difference in Balsamic vinegar before, until I tried Ritrovo! This is the best quality I have ever tasted, and I love the syrupy thickness of it. Even my husband uses it and doesn’t like the taste of vinegar! This is one smooth Balsamic and I will definitely buy it again. The only thing about the tiny pour spout that comes with it is mine leaked out the tiny groove on the side (which is intended for air release I suppose) but I just switched it out with one made for olive oil and it works great so really wasn’t a big deal.
