Waste of money.....it doesn't hold sound and it's painful

Before using this when I used to take a flight, I used to have immense pain in my ears. They kept popping constantly. There was no solution except for holding my breathing and hoping that the flight will land soon. My ears would start ringing, my neck would hurt, I would get a migraine. It was horrible. Popping my ears or swallowing things couldn't help me too. So I searched for earbuds and that's how I came across earplanes. I used it on my last two flights and oh boy! It has been an amazing experience. I didn't remove it throughout the flight as it was a short flight but I could peacefully enjoy the view. My ears popped but they weren't as painful as they were earlier. The pain on the scale of 1-10 was on 2. I would 100% recommend this product!

Previously I had lot of ear popping problems during all my flight journeys. But after seeing this product I thought of giving a chance. I tried it on my last 3 flight journeys and believe me, my both ears were absolutely fine even after landing. Because of the filter I could even hear the flight announcements very clearly in the flight. It can be used multiple times if you clean the plugs regularly while travelling, and make sure to keep its hole cleaned for proper air pressure regulation. It is an amazing product worth more than 5 stars.

Whenever I travell by air I face ear blockage issue. This product helped me to overcome this issue to a good extent after using this product.

Haven't completely decided how much I like these. I do like them, and I think they did do what they're supposed to do in that I had no painful popping in my ears. But don't expect these to fix your airplane ear troubles entirely, just know that they'll help.As other reviewers mentioned, be sure to put these in before ascending or descending. The first flight I used these, my ears felt pretty sore from having these EarPlanes in them for so long. But I had no annoying popping, so I suppose it was a trade off. The second flight was much better. My ears weren't sore after and I mostly avoided the painful popping, though my ears felt like they were under water for a few hours after the flight.During ascent/descent, I still made sure to keep consciously popping my ears as I normally do. I thought I wouldn't have to do this, but after the first few minutes of using them while we were ascending, as I felt the pressure grow in my ears, I quickly realized I'd still need to manually pop my ears like I normally do.Overall satisfied with the purchase. For only $7, you have little to lose giving these a shot!

I wish I had discovered this product sooner because I would have avoided multiple episodes of excruciating pain ! Sometimes during descent when flying I would get awful ear pain that wasn’t relived with yawning, chewing gum, plugging my nose and blowing ….. nothing. I have sinus issues as well as Eustacean tube dysfunction and thought ear pain when flying was something I was always going to have to deal with. I finally found Earplanes and gave them a try. The really work! It’s such a relief to not suffer with the pain anymore. Sometimes I still feel some pressure during descent but it’s very tolerable. Now I never fly without these ear plugs. I can not recommend these enough if you suffer from ear pain when flying.

This product definitely works. I didn't give it all 5 stars, because there were a few issues but I think they might have been me not installing them properly?I wore them from Miami to DC and back. (2:30 mins flight)1. My ears did NOT hurt and they usually do; very badly.🤗2. They could've been a bit more comfortable, but not sure if I put them in correctly.3. A big concern for me came when we were decending into MIA: my ears did not hurt but my head started to feel really weird, like my blood vessels were constricting. I also started to feel a bit dizzy and started to sweat profusely. Honestly, I got a bit scared. Grabbed the barf bag, wasn't sure if I was going to need it. THANKFULLY, this passed after a few minutes.4. Most importantly when we landed, I was fine and had no after effects AND my ears were clear.

When I was young I had an extreme fear of flying because it felt like my ears were going to explode... after discovering these things it has changed the game for me as far as being comfortable with flying. If I follow the instructions, making sure these are in firmly before a flight and then again before landing; I have no ear pain whatsoever. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I feel like I almost need something in between children and adult sizes. I use the large ones usually because as long as I can get them snug in my ear they do what they are supposed to. They are just not the most comfortable for me. I’m so thankful these exist after the 9 hour overnight flight I took this year. I don’t know how I would have made it without them.

These are a lifesaver! Over the last few years, any time I descend in a plane, 1/2 of my face and ears gets so pressurized that I can't touch my face it hurts so much and I won't be able to hear well out of the affected ear for a while (sinus problems). It is very painful, scary, and can also set off my vertigo. I used these at takeoff and didn't really notice a difference, but I put them back in about 30 min before landing (when we started our descent) and all I had to do was keep clearing my ears (normal for me) and I had NO PAIN!!! They fit in well you just have to turn them around a bit to find the right fit for you. The little case they come in is perfect too. I was honestly amazed I was prepared for so much pain that never came!
