Great gloves but not perfect
I waited about 2 months to write this review to see how they broke in. I had a really tough time deciding whether or not to give this a 5 or 4 star review. I wanted to give a 4 star because they aren't perfect but ended up going with a 5 star because they are pretty dang close.I am using these for a pretty specific purpose. I wanted something that I could use to hit my Outslayer Thai bag in between working out with my Nuobell dumbells. I wasn't going to get these at first because they were so expensive. But because Amazon has such an awesome return policy, I figured, ehh I'll give them a shot. If they aren't as good as the price would leave you to believe, then I'll return them. Well, I ended up keeping them so that should say how much I like them. These are great for me because I can easily switch from lifting weights to bag work and back again quickly and efficiently. I lift, then instead of taking a break I hit the bag for about 45 seconds and then go back to lifting. It's a pretty tiring work out so I needed something that I could use to go back and forth with and keep up the pace. I tried probably 5 other gloves, that were cheaper, but none of them felt as good as these for that purpose. One thing that helped sell me was that these are actually advertised to be used on heavy bags where most other gloves like these recommend you do not use them for bag work. I never spared with these so I couldn't tell you how that would go.These gloves feel great! They have great cushioning and awesome wrist support. Not sure how or why because I still do get movement in my wrist but I don't get any of the strain that I used to with my harbinger bag gloves. I used to have to take it easy with those gloves so I wouldn't damage my wrists but with these gloves, it's never a thought. There are really only 2 negatives. 1) I think the sizing chart is a little bit off. I measured my hands and with a loose measuring tape, I was at 8.25". If I pulled it tight, I could get it to 8". This would put me at a medium. However, medium really kind of hurt my fingers so I tried small and they fit MUCH better. Which leads me to negative 2) they made the stitching between the fingers way too spread apart. I'm not sure why they would do this. So instead of the stitching landing somewhere in between your fingers, your pinky and/or your first finger will be punching onto the finger straps. This happens even with the small size on me however it doesn't actually bother me when using the small gloves. However, when using the mediums, for some reason this strap would hurt my fingers when I punched because they would dig into my finger on ever strike. The small still has this same problem but for some reason I can't feel it when using the small gloves. However, I feel like they should make the stitching in between the fingers actually be in between the fingers. The only one that lands in the right spot is the middle one that goes in between your middle and ring finger. All in all, these are an awesome pair of gloves which is why I ended up going with 5 stars instead of 4. Once I got the right size, they were great. And even though the stitching in between my fingers don't actually land in between my fingers on my first finger and pinky, I can't really tell with my current pair. So am I happy with this purchase even though they cost twice as much as the other gloves I tried.... HELL YES!

Fantastic
I’m a boxing coach and demo on the bags alot in classes. I need access to my fingers for timers etc. These are superior leather quality and protective. Great gloves. I’ve tried several mma and hybrid and these are the best.

Can't Go Wrong with Hayabusa
Yes, they're more expensive than other brands, but Hayabusa gloves are top quality and will hold up a long time. If you're into MMA, Martial Arts or Boxing for the long haul, quality equipment like this will pay for itself in terms of comfort, protection and longevity. Even the velcro feels like it's good quality. The only reason I gave the gloves 4 starts for comfort is they run a size smaller than advertised.

Yes, buy these. Yes they are worth the money.
I've waited a few months to write a review. After buying budget gloves that are shoddy craftsmanship and tear up your knuckles I finally decided to spend the money hoping for better quality and I got it.I got medium men's, they were tight like they're supposed to be and the break in was uncomfortable like it should be. I have punched my heavy bag with these every day for the last few months and the leather and the stitching is holding up just fine and so in the velcro. They are comfortable, durable, amazing quality, everything you hope to get for what these cost.Get them.

Pricy but amazing quality and protection
Putting the price aside for a second, it is overall an amazing pairing of boxing gloves. Great padding, great wrist support even without wrapping, and an good looking material choice imo, I really haven’t found anything like this. But, the price is very steep, for a fraction of the price you could probably get something that performs just as good as this. I’d say if you are buying this it’s for the piece of mind that you are training with a very good equipment. If price is the concern don’t bother, there is no way this is worth the price to performance. But if you want to treat yourself or someone you know to an amazing pair of new boxing gloves, you are looking at the right place.

Disappointed
I owned the white 7 oz gloves (along with so much other Hayabusa gear which is sensational). Who knows how, but I lost one of the white gloves about a week ago. I decided to get the leather as the replacement pair. A lot that is similar, but the way the more bulky leather is woven especially in the pinky hole ... With just a little bit of flexing to get the gloves to start moving, it wound up raising a blister. I'll tape the finger and give it another try in a couple of days. My suspicion though is that I'll be returning these and getting a replacement set of white. Love everything Hayabusa with this one exception.

Minor scratch, bad stitching and tight on hands
The recommended size for me was medium so I got large because people said they feel tight. They still feel tight and they came a with stitching error and a a scratch.

Leather Boxing Gloves
This is the 1st pair of leather gloves I have bought. The most I have paid for boxing gloves. Money well spent. They are the best gloves I have used so far.I had to break them in by wearing some thin gloves with them for a couple of weeks.
