I used this to put arrowroot powder and dried florals (for scent) in. I was looking to make a fry shampoo alternative. This bottle was PERFECT for this. The only thing I could want is for it to be a little larger to hold more dried florals for scent. Other than that, it’s perfect.

The product does what is advertised but each pump does not give you much of the powder. The powder that I’m using is arrowroot as a form of dry shampoo.I feel like I need to use at least 30-40 pumps to cover the head with powder

The media could not be loaded. You know the hair fibers, to fill in your hairline...using the shaker bottle they originally come in leaves you with a glob of fibers. Not cute & time consuming to fix. This bottle works perfect so far

I was so excited to use these for my DIY dry shampoo powder, the only contents of which are arrowroot powder and rice starch.The applicators came in a pack of two, which would've been great for rotation. However, one of the two did not work, straight from the package and the other failed within a few weeks time. The other initially worked appropriately, delivering the perfect puff of powder for a light, fine dusting of dry shampoo powder, without using too much, avoiding the victorian wig look; just right. It actually used a lot less than most applicators, and i discovered that i needed even less than i thought to do the trick. It was a little messy, but not tragically so - the front of my bathroom counter was covered in a light dusting from the spray, and bits did get on my shoulders, arm, and chest. Not a big deal, an expected amount of mess. So it did mitigate product waste, both in application amount and mess. The pump is a bit hard to push, especially one handed, which is tricky when using for dry shampoo powder application, and someone with weaker, smaller hands than I likely would not be able to manage it at all ( size XL glove, and I open all the pickle jars in my household). I had to shake, tap, jiggle the contents between every few pumps to fluff up the powder in the bottle so that the little fluffer inside could do its thing. When full, it seemed to work best upside down, so that the pump action was fluffing the lightest/least condensed powder.I've been using it about every other day for a few weeks, and all of a sudden, the second bottle now no longer works.Despite being stored literally next to a dehumidifier, I am thinking that the fluff action just wasn't vigorous enough to make the powder come out after it had rested a while and had a chance to compact a bit. No amount of sharing or tapping would convince it otherwise. Maybe the bottle just isn't air tight, and once any humidity has a chance to set in, the powder becomes too heavy.Either way, I wish I had gone with another product... One that actually works. Choose an other applicator, not this one. The benefits are short-lived.

I was hesitant to buy these as some of the reviews weren't the best. But bought in case I didn't like the new body powders dispenser (happy nuts or something). Filled the bottle halfway, and it pumped normal. Gave a nice distribution of the powder. Have had no issues with it and have used it every morning before leaving for work.Haven't cleaned it yet but assume it should be decently easy. Then again may not need to since I only plan to use body powder in them.

EditedBelow is my first opinion, this is after using for a few months.Only one of the bottles works. One works perfectly, the other one is as the other reviews say. It's hard to push doesn move aby product. Clearly a quality co tool issue. I even changed the bottoms. It's the top. The stuff I side didn't change. But one top sucks. Hopefully this gets fixed bc I really like using these and would how to be able to buy again if needed.It's perfect for corn starch for dry shampoo/baby powder. Sends out a little puff of thr powder. Is so much better than an can of spray or dumping powder into your hand and putting it where you need to. It's good quality plastic not flimsy. I'm not sure what the negative comments are about.

It actually works just as it claims!
