Redcat Racing BLH-0010GM Aluminum Hop Up Kit for Blackout Xt, XB, & SC

About the third day after Christmas and the weather was like 10 degrees, plastic parts get brittle I would guess. Anyway, he ran his truck into my truck and when all was done, we broke his front right wheel components in 4 different places. I saw this Hop Up set and after pricing individual parts, decided that this was actually a pretty good deal. It took me about 3 hours to tear down what was there and rebuild the entire front suspension and I'm still waiting on an additional part I ordered. This kit has everything you need BUT... the knuckles, the bearings and the axel. So when disassembling the stock suspension, do one at a time so that you rebuild the same way they have it and take parts off the stock parts as needed. If you have parts that aren't broken then keep those for spare parts if you break the rear suspension. The front and rear on a Blackout is the same. In case you wanted to know, I broke the lower leaf bar, the top of the front gear box, the actual steering mechanism from the servo and the front bumper. I've included some photos as well. By the way, the new aluminum parts look great. Oh, be sure to get some blue thread lock.

The arms were great but didn’t take the full length of the suspension mount screw. Nonetheless it’s sturdy and handles suspension without damage but it can wiggle side to side. Haven’t noticed much difference.Chose not use the rest of the wheel hub because the parts fit quite loosely. Not the level of precision that comes from the plastic stock parts.My upper arms were breaking and that’s why I got the kit, so having lowers in aluminum too was a great plus. I wouldn’t use the wheel hub anyway since it doesn’t damage as easily.

A little too ex. But if you’re running brushless and lipo. You probably need it. Upgrade the servo to 15kg as well.

I ordered some before that fitted nicely and tight. This one had more clearance between parts, i figured to put washersWashers helped and it is standing firm.

Fit really poorly so I took it off. Big waste

Had issues actually receiving the product.Over priced with the hassle I had to deal with!

Ridiculously expensive for aluminium parts, Would stick with plastic as some of these aluminium parts could stress out the motor.
