This is a very nice product but it is much smaller than I thought it would be. My fault for not checking the dimensions. I can still used it but I really need a bigger/taller option.

Good value, well crafted, easily fits into a laptop satchel. But do not try to stand on it like in the pic!

This item is built well! I have a large foot (15 US) so my heal touches side. The stool collapses a little too easy for my liking so I used velcro in one of the slots to hold it in place where I use it the most. The stool is a little tipsy side to side but again, I’m a larger person so you may not have any issues. Overall it is very solid!

The stand is perfect for me, but I would worry somewhat if handled roughly. Although I haven't tried, I would not try standing on it with my full weight. Probably ok, but why take a chance? Also, it doesn't have any rubber feet, so it might slide a little if on a hard surface.

This guitar footstool is more stable, more adjustable, more comfortable, and more attractive than any other guitar footstool I've used. I am a beginning guitar student, and am also recovering from a leg injury so I shift around a bit. This stool stays in place by being more balanced, heavier, and wider than the metal stools. the bamboo is well finished and attractive. Highly recommend.

The only thing missing on this foot-rest is a fitted strap to hold it together when it gets accidently kicked over; which I do a lot. I'm using fat rubber bands instead to hold it together. Works well enough.

Bought this to replace a metal version of the foot stand that did not survive my kids. This product is as advertised. I was able to sit and stand on it and it did not flinch. It is a great foot stand and wide enough to be comfortable for hours of practicing even when barefoot. It looks really nice too. If only this company made music stands it would complete the organic look of my practice space.

UPDATE: Garbage, you can't put light pressure on this without the stand from tweaking shape and popping the pins of of alignment, causing it to fold up. I've tried tightening the screws to no avail. Down to 1 star (0 if I could). I would NOT recommend anyone buy this stand. It's literally in the garbage can.I previously purchased a metal framed, rubberized pad unit. It was cheaply made, as the rivets that essentially support the weigh broke within a month of using. This product, in contrast, not only looks better, but has heavy duty rivets that are holding up well to daily use. I will provide an update in another month or so to see how it's holding up.Additionally, compared to the rubberized pads that have intricate groove patterns to offer grip, are a pain to clean. This bamboo is smooth and easy to wipe off. I am happy with this purchase, and would recommend over the slightly less expensive (but poorly made) metal/rubber alternatives.UPDATE: I've used this for several months now, and have experienced similar issues with this bamboo step as I had with the metal one by another company. When placing weight on it, the metal rods that support the step are slipping out, causing the foot pedal to come down. I've tried tightening the hex bolts that should tighten the whole piece, but it continues to do it weekly. Bottom line: The idea of an adjustable step is unrealistic with modern manufacturing design and cost/price. I will ditch this one and just get a plastic molded step that isn't adjustable. We're not investing a whole lot of $$ for these products, but it's frustrating that product testing is virtually non existent on these things. It's often the cheapest design they can produce for market. I would recommend anyone not truly needing an adjustable step to just use a stack of books or molded plastic, one piece design for the purpose of a foot stool for guitar playing, propping your foot up, etc. I no longer recommend this product.

I have just received my footrest and love the look. The natural wood grain suits my style. It is very sturdy and I expect to use it for many many years to come.

Very compact and stronger than the metal ones. Lightweight relatively considering it's made of bamboo and steel.

I bought it because was a handsome wood option and looked better than the black metal ones. Problem is that the wooden feet just slide across hard floors — no grip on the bottom. And, no grip on the top, so your foot keeps sliding too! One day into ownership and I had to order one of the less handsome but more functional alternatives.

I purchased this foot stool in September of 2021, and used it lightly to moderately in the last 6 months, with most use in the last two months. The footstool cracked and the metal rods would slip out from the wood regularly. Today, one of the grooves broke off when I set it up and placed my foot on it. I thought spending a little more money would have netted a better product, but the cheaper metal ones lasted much longer for me. My advice? Buy the cheaper metal ones. They're constructed better and, in my opinion, more comfortable.

I am pleased with the foot rest. The finish and construction are good. I plan to travel next month and bring my guitar. This foot rest will be convenient to travel with. I use it now for everyday practice.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's just under an inch thick when flattened. Fits in my luggage without a problem. Very solid feel. Stylish. The foot rest came in on time. I'm very happy with my purchase.
