Great and Quiet, 4 Liter Cool Mist Humidifier. Very good quality, and craftsmanship.
I am really liking this humidifier. It has been a very dry year, drought conditions with fires and smoke. I placed in my bedroom, and it has really help ease my sinus pressure and dry nose. This humidifier is a cool mist humidifier and fills thru the top. It can hold four liters of water, which is quite significant for a humidifier. The water and humidifier, I have found lasts about 19 hours before refilling is needed. Very easy to use, and also to clean. Cleaning is essential as the minerals from the water build up and can reduce the steam flow as well damage the unit. Personally, I use the recommended distilled water. While in use, this humidifier is very quiet. Very impressive actually! It would be ideal for a small child’s room or a new little one. The humidifier is made of plastic and the tubing is as well. It is constructed nicely, and was fairly reasonable in price. Having used the brand many times and being extremely pleased brings me great confidence in my decision to purchase this one. I am happy with this purchase, and feel comfortable recommending humidifier to others.

Lovin’ it
Great product! I love auto mode! Extremely quiet. So many features. Get a lot for the price! I have mine placed by my Christmas cacti and they love the extra moisture in the air. I love the top fill design so I don’t have to lug the heavy water tank around like other humidifiers.

A sophisticated, self-running room humidifier at a bargain price
As winter approaches, the air in your home tends to dry out. This is especially true in Northern California, where the semi-desert climate brings the humidity down to extremely low levels.Overly arid air (below 30 percent humidity) tends to dry out human skin. In like manner, it dries out the lining of your mucous membranes, making you more susceptible to flu and, these days, coronavirus.Yes, coronavirus. In August, a study published in the journal “Transboundary and Emerging Diseases” found that there is a direct correlation with a drop in humidity and an increase in community transmission of COVID-19. (Source, Yahoo! Life). As it turns out, the airborne coronavirus remains viable (contagious) for longer periods of time in a low-humidity atmosphere. (Healthian) It’s unlikely the virus will be floating around in your home unless a highly contagious person is present. A humidifier’s main benefit against the virus is keeping your mucous glands moist so they can function more effectively to catch pathogens before they penetrate your airway. There are two humidifier technologies: warm mist and cool mist. Both are effective. The Homech unit reviewed here is a cool-mist design. It uses near-silent ultrasonic technology to boil the water in its reservoir, then it vectors the resulting steam jet from an opening in the top of the unit. (See photo.) Cool mist humidifiers use less power than warm mist designs. (Consumer Reports)We wanted a simple humidifier for our bedroom, our main goal being a more comfortable night’s sleep and the avoidance of dried-out air passages. After some comparison shopping on Amazon we decided to try the Homech Top Fill Humidifier. It is a pretty basic unit, without water purifiers or air filters, but for our needs we figured it would be sufficient. As it turned out, it works just fine and its automatic features make this humidifier a snap to use.The unit turned out to be surprisingly compact, 12” tall and 22.5” around. Its flat-black plastic construction makes it nearly invisible in a room. It comes with a comprehensive and well-written owner’s manual. The book begins with a number of safety precautions, most of them common sense when working with water and electricity. One caution to note: Do not use the humidifier in a closed room, lest overly humid air results in moisture accumulating on walls and windows.Cleaning operations, described in detail, must be carried out in order to avoid the accumulation of bacteria in the unit’s water tank and base reservoir. If your local water has high mineral content, the manual recommends using distilled or filtered water. The manual advises against adding scents, oils, or other products to the water tank.Recommended room size for this humidifier is 107-321 square feet – adequate for most bedrooms. The unit should be placed two feet above the floor and one foot away from the wall.Operation time can be set for up to 12 hours, at which time the unit must be re-started. It can hold a little over a gallon of water. The unit’s noise rating, 28 dB, is very low. You can barely hear it in operation. The unit comes pre-assembled, and setup is straightforward: just add water and plug it in.When you plug in the humidifier, its display briefly lights up (see illustration), showing the number 88, which means nothing – it’s just an indicator the LED is working.Three buttons are located beneath the LED display. Press and hold the Timer button to specify the length of time you want the humidifier to operate, from 1 to 12 hours. Press the Mist Level button to cycle through Low, Medium, High, and Auto levels of mist. Press the Power button to turn on the humidifier and by default put it in Standby mode. When turned on, the room’s current humidity with be shown on the LED display. (The humidity level displayed by the Homech humidifier matched the number displayed on our room’s temperature/humidity unit.) By default, the humidifier will bring the room to 65 percent humidity, then shut down and re-start when the humidity drops below 60 percent.Once the timer and mist levels are where you want them, turn on the power and let the humidifier run itself in Auto mode. It will keep the room at 65 percent humidity for as long as you specify. If it runs out of water, the humidifier will turn itself off.I installed and set up the Homtech humidifier in only a few minutes and it ran perfectly from the get-go. As soon as it is activated, an impressive jet of steam shoots from its top-mounted nozzle. Just what I wanted. We look forward to a more comfortable sleeping environment over the coming winter.

nice
Humidifier is also easy to use, specially selected a large capacity, do not need to add water all the time, wake up and still open the water tank capacity: two bottles of mineral water just humidification effect: good other features: mainly like this light can be used together at night.

good
Light green looks good. Noise control: very quiet, no sound. Water tank capacity: 4.5 liters. If it is fully filled with water, it can be humidified for two nights. The fog is very thin. I bought the ordinary model. I don't know if the air humidity has changed too much, but it will feel a little better

Very quiet and really easy to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Picked this up for a friend who has allergies. Here's her thoughts; Why didn't I think of getting one of these before?? Thanks Tony for this very thoughtful and useful gift.Pollen season wore me out this year and then couple that with my sinus infection and I was a pretty miserable girl:-( This Homech humidifier has made my nights much more comfortable and I've even noticed feeling more rested when I get up in the morning. The product basically comes assembled right out of the box and using it is a snap. plug it in, fill it with water and turn it on. It's really that simple. The top nozzle can actually be rotated so that you can aim the mist in just about any direction you desire. I also like the number of options you have for setting the timer or even setting it to auto mode where it senses ambient moisture and automatically turns itself on and off. Very cool:-)It's about the size of a 2 liter bottle of soda so definitely not tiny - but oddly enough it looks nice on my nightstand and doesn't appear to invasive.Very happy and looking forward to getting many years of faithful use from it. Thanks bunches Tony.
