Lost the factory antenna for my Uniden mhs75, this was a good replacement, however it does need modification to fit on the uniden, as the factory antenna fits into a narrow recess in the housing. Basically just need to trim off some of the rubber (1-2mm) from the base of the antenna so that it fits correctly into the radio, otherwise it will thread on and not actually make contact with the antenna connector on the radio. Other than that it worked great, and reasonably priced for two, factory uniden was $12.99 plus shipping.

Replaced the antenna on my Horizon HX210 and it fits perfectly. Half the price and double the quantity of the OE replacement. They are a bit stiffer so hopefully they're more durable.

Best resonant frequencies on these antennas were around 140 & 404MHz, but they had acceptable SWR readings below 3 over the range of 156-157 MHz so they are usable on the marine VHF band, as advertized. These did not look exactly like the OEM antennas from Standard Horizon. They are a little stiffer and the outside texture is different. But the RF characteristics of these are better than the "exact OEM" replacements that I have bought here on Amazon.The original antennas that come with the radios from SH gave me readings that were slightly better than these, but the difference was not gigantic. These do not appear to be the repackaged factory rejects that I think other vendors may have been trying to sell. These appear to be genuine aftermarket antennas that are in spec. I have rejected a dozen antennas that looked perfect but tested horribly.Normally I reserve a 4 star rating for an antenna that has an SWR below 2, but since these are the best I have found, they get recognition for that fact. I can't give 5 stars to anything above a 1.5 SWR. On other bands, I have found antennas as good as 1.01. 1.00 would be considered perfect.These antennas loose about 15-20% of the signal strength in SWR loss. That's a lot better than the 50-85% loss I was seeing on some other antennas. These are keepers.Edit:I've gotten these twice now. Quality has been consistent.
