The product is a simple item, but difficult to find at a good price. Many vendors offer candle wick tabs, but don't think you're getting a better product if you spend more. There are other offers on Amazon, and other sites selling the same tabs, I'm sure they're sourced from China, for half the number of tabs, and almost twice as much. You are not getting a superior product.I'm glad I found these guys, their price is fantastic, their service is amazing. They are Amazon Prime shipping, so it's free and fast. The product comes from their own branded stock, which is well packaged.They claim 400 pieces, and there are easily 400 pieces, maybe a couple over that number. I wanted to know, but I didn't want to count all 400, and I would possibly miscount if I tried, so I used a gram scale for 25 pieces carefully counted, in groups of 5 pieces so they could be verified by sight, which weighs 6.5g. Then weighed the total that came in the bag, and that weight was 104.2g which is a bit over 16 times the weight of 25 pieces. So, easily 400 pieces.The tabs work with a variety of wicks. I've used cotton core just to check, and primary use 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 hemp. I thread through the tab, tie a figure 8 know at the end of the wick, pull the knot into the tab, and crimp the tab. Easy. works well, very secure. I need them to be secure in that I make a short candle with using a candle pin to leave a wick hole, so the wick needs to be threaded through the candle. The tab is extremely important, it must secure the wick in the candle. These work perfectly.Kare & Kind is a very responsive company, great communication. I will be purchasing more, and would recommend them to anyone who might need candle wick tabs.Chris Kennedy

Good product for the price. I used a 1.0mm bees waxed hemp wick I got from Amazon with the 14mm tabs and they worked fine. Could have used the 12mm but the price was double so I got these instead. The wick thickness varies due to the wax so the extra room in the stem was good. I crimped close to the top as recommended by other reviewers but 10% of my bases would bend slightly so they wouldn't lay flat. Then I found that crimping from the top and not the side is the trick to having a 100% flat bases =)The hemp wick is very slow burning so the flame stays high. It may not be the right wick material for making soy tealights for essential oil warmers but the quality of the burn is very nice for larger slow burning natural wax candles.I'm new to candle crafting and found 1:1 wick/tab compatibility info hard to find. I am looking for another pre-waxed natural wick alternative to hemp. Any help or comprehensive resource suggestions from experienced candle crafters is greatly appreciated :)

What can I say,they are candle tabs. I gave them three stars because every time I try to use them the base curls up. This could totally be user error, but it is frustrating.

Great value for making custom sized wicks when paired with wicks cut from a ball of bulk wick.

For the value I think it’s better if you buy with the wick already on it, it bends a bit when you try to apply the wick in it, making hard to stand and glue at the base. There is a lot in the package for playing around.

Great for candle making as intended. Doesn't rust on bottom. Great price!
