This stand is made of high quality aluminum with beautiful machining on the center post. Unlike what others have said, the stand does rotate and is height adjustable using the threaded rod on the center post. There is no problem with screws coming loose. Just use Loctite. Every RC car enthusiast should have some in their tool box. Also, the posting says it fits 1/8-1/12 scale cars. It actually holds my 1/16 Hyper Go nicely.

This is a very handy item to have around when you're working on rcs. It has a 6 in. ruler on the bottom of the stand and it has foam strips on the top that keep the rc from sliding off. Also it us adjustable so you can screw it up or down and then tighten with a set screw to keep it from moving. Very good quality I would recommend.

Good tool for rc car

I've used it to build shocks. Works great at holding different sizes.

These do the job of holding your RC car off the surface and allow you to spin the car around to work on it. It also doubles as a stand when it comes to rebuilding your shocks. A little shorter than other brands that look like this one.

Great little unit but having the lock gang mechanism for the stand be a Allen bolt it is not the easiest adjustment I would suggest a Snap lever or thumb screw “a tool less adjustment”

This is a nice stand but the description said it had a megnetic strip to hold screws in place and it does not so I gave it a 3 because that's what I wanted
