Great light for a kid, but fragile USB port.
This is a great gift for any kid who loves Axolotls. Many colors and good amount of brightness. Great option to use battery powered or plugged in. Unfortunately, that's also a downside. My son didn't leave it plugged in so there was too much plugging and unplugging to the USB port. The port is glued down and isn't very strong. Too much pushing and pulling will cause it to break and fall inside the base. We tried two of these with the same result. It's a great item, but would recommend keeping it plugged in to an outlet like you would any lamp. Also, batteries don't last all that long.

This is a gift for my granddaughter. She loves Axolotls. Remote has so many colors to choose.

Looks good and still running after a year
My daughter uses this every night and sometimes forgets to turn off during the day and is still going a year later. It looks good too.

Granddaughter's B-day gift
Our grand daughter was really into Axolotl's so we purchased this lamp. Not sure what I expected but it seems very cheaply made and looks like it will break. Time will tell - Our grand daughter seems to like it so I will give it a 3 rating.

It's a nice product and the person I gave it to, loves it. Has a standard micro usb connection, so it was nice to use one of many such adapters I have.. Comprehensive colour and brightness and fade effects via a remote, and a nice soft lighting effect. Could be improved by a more convincing 3d effect, but at the price, it's very good.

Looks great but isn't huge.
Big hit for a 9 year olds gift but I guess I didn't read the dimensions well cause it was smaller than I thought it would be. Works great and looks great though!
