We can’t find these in stores. Are they sold in stores?? Anyways, we get these from Amish farms and sometimes we just don’t have the time to drive an hour and a half to the Amish. So I thought I’d give this one a try and it works! I don’t remember what the Amish brand is, but this one works amazing and just as good or better! Highly recommend!(If yours “doesn’t work,” you’re probably using it wrong)

We have two of these sharpeners. They have been used for several years and still sharpen knives to a high degree. We bought a dozen to give as gifts to family members. They are an outstanding product at a great price.

We bought this item at the LA county Fair at least ten years ago, and it is still like new. It's very easy to use and gets the knives really sharp, and is very small. Last year we thought about giving this item as Christmas gifts to our children and grandchildren, and were delighted to find that it was available on Amazon.

It looks SO simple and almost to the point that asks: " Can this really work?" Well, the answer is a resounding "YES".Sharpeners range all the way from a $5 type we have used all the way up to over $100. ( which we have not used.)This little sharpener, after 8-10 strokes, just blows the mind relative to the edge it puts on a knife. It seems to meit creates an invisible almost serrated edge which then makes cutting anything so easy from breads to vegetables tomeat and fruit. We have it right next to our knives and used it several times a week; cannot recommend more highly!

I was looking for a standard sharpener I could have in my kitchen, workshop and when I am out hunting in the woods. I wanted to keep the same profile on the blade to make for easy touch ups.
