Very rigid
I ordered two sets. I had to do some filing to mount the rear sight where I wanted on my m4 carbine, but I had no such issues mounting it on my ar-10. I sold both guns shortly after installing these, but while I had them, these sights were tough. Very stout springs and durable hardware, but they were a little bulky. Overall? A great buy

Needs Work Before Use
Edit: Adding a star now that I have used these. Super accurate. Work extremely well. Original comments still apply though as far as the amount of work it took to get them to be functional.Original review:Out of the box these need some work before they will function as intended.Upon arrival I could barely get the button to move with a thumb press and mostly had to push the sight down while pressing to get it to release and it was still a bear to press the button anyway. I spent 2 days oiling and working the button to break them in to the point where they will actually move properly. And I mean I have worked the button probably a thousand times and oiled them half a dozen times with Hoppe's gun lube. To save my thumb I was pushing the sight down on a table using the table to do the actual button press. They are now functioning reasonably smoothly and I don't have to hold the sight part off the latch mechanism to get them to move nor push them against something solid just to get the button to move.So I'm knocking off one star for the unfinished nature of the action and another for the lack of a front sight adjustment tool like the one that came with my Magpul popup sights. I will be mounting and trying them out today so I will come back and adjust the rating/review if there are any more problems or if they are better than I expect.

Decent offset backup sights
These sights came well packaged and feels solid but not heavy or too bulky. Mounted them on my 716i Tread and zeroed at 50yds. They hold zero well after flipping them up and down numerous times so far. Release buttons are a little firm but at least they won't inadvertently up on you. No other issues especially for the price and overall quality, just wish these were made in USA.

Great Value for the $$$$$
Cut to the chase, I can't believe you can buy these for the price I did (under 40 bucks). These 45 degree flip up sights are very well machined and plenty robust. I mounted them. Went to the range sighted them in and fired 150 rounds. About every ten rounds I flipped them down, then flipped them up to see if anything changed. Nope. The zero stayed right were I originally put it, never moved. I'm an 80's Marine and cut my teeth on an M16A1 with iron sights. The sight picture from these sights were just great on a 16 inch barrel with full length rail. My 57 year old eyes do struggle with some peep sights but not at all with these. Once again, these are an exceptional value based on one range day. For the price, don't hesitate. I'm ordering more.

45* BUIS are right for me, and these are right for the price.
If you haven't tried 45* sights on an AR platform rifle, you should. I had bought some very cheap co-witness BUIS and wasn't happy at all. The MLOK/picatinny setup on my rifle must be a little higher than normal because I could never get the front sight low enough. I had to physically cut the front pin, and it was really difficult to see. I got these to replace them. I figure if my red dot gets damaged, I can still use these.Out of the box they are stiff. Almost as if they won't work at all. The instructions say to oil them, and they aren't kidding. Have some faith, drop in some oil, and start to work the deployment button. They will loosen up quickly. Once they are mounted on the rail it gets easier to work them anyway. Bonus points for extra parts in the box, too!Just got back from the range, had to run the front sight way down, but I got it where it needed to be. Shooting the gun at the 45* angle felt far more natural than I thought it would.Bottom line, these aren't the nicest BUIS on the market, but for the price they are well worth it. And I can't recommend the 45* setup enough. I think it has a lot of advantages and if you use a real scope this type is probably the only one that will work. If you are a lefty these can easily be mounted backwards, too. Highly recommend.

Right hand 45 degree sights
Was a little disappointed in the product when I received both the front and rear sight.1. The sights would not go to the upright position until I manually assisted them a few times. The pin would depress but nothing would happen. With lubrication and working them a bit the release now functions.2. As someone stated in previous review, they are not a true 45 degree. Checked with a bevel gauge, these are 50 to 51 degrees.3. In the down position they are alittle loose in the mounts. I guess you get what you pay for. I have since bought a set of Magpuls and a night and day difference. I have purchased optics from Dagger that have been fantastic, especially for the price paid for them. I support veteran based buisness when I can over all others. For this item, I cannot recommend after my experience with this product. Would they work in a pinch, I did use them at the range and yes they did work. I had to change my approach to the target acquisition a bit. But 50 and 75 yards were no problem. Like I said before, i guess you get what you pay for.

Will Buy Again
I placed these on a scoped 308 AR10. I've been up and down mountains and put about 1000 rounds through the rifle. It has been dropped, beaten, and banged up. The sights are still holding zero with no problems encountered so far.
