Perfect for beginners
I am an absolute beginner at crochet. Initially I wondered if this is too much for someone who is just trying out a new thing, but I am glad I bought this. The crochet needles provided are of good variety and vibrant colours. The bigger needles are quite sturdy, the thin ones are a little delicate…in the sense that you can do normal crochet, but not put too much pressure or they’ll bend.For me the best part about buying an assortment of needles was the ease of the trial and error that goes with fitting a particular needle for a particular yarn. If one doesn’t work, I tried the other. Now, I can even tell the difference between how a project can be made big or small depending on the size of the hook.Having a proper pouch for the needles is also very useful. The holder might not look much, but it is definitely sturdy and the plastic holders inside are also strong.All in all, I highly recommend this for beginners. Happy with my purchase!
