Low quality garbage. Claiming they're black out curtains is just false advertising. The sun can still be seen through them. They're full of runs top to bottom and the stiching is pulled out in some areas at the top. What was almost comical is I noticed something didn't look right about the center rings. As you can see in my picture, the center rings on the right are super close together, and the on the left they're spaced evenly. Is it that noticable when hung, not exactly, but it's ridiculous that they would even be packaged and sent out like that.

Finally found TRUE "blackout" curtains!
These are TRUE blackout curtains!!! FINALLY I found some curtains that you truly cannot see through. This is (almost) exactly what I was looking for! I went through several other curtains that claimed to be blackout curtains but really, they still let a lot of light through. I had to return several before finally finding these. These really don't let ANY light through, they're fantastic for both my office, where I have to do minute color adjustments on architectural illustrations on my computer monitor AND my bedroom, where the nearby train station's blinding lights keep me up all night unless I wear one of those sleeping blindfolds, which are really uncomfortable. So here are the pros and cons in my opinion:PROS:- They REALLY don't let ANY light in- They are made of very thick, high quality materials- They look fantastic - again, they appear to be high quality.- The metal rings also seem like they are made to last, no fringing of the cloth or anything like that around the ringsCONS:- Only one that I can think of and it's something really small: These are 42" in width, and while that will cover some smaller windows, it's slightly small for covering a standard 36.5" wide window. Especially if the double window has a center cap like mine. Due to the curtain needing to "wave" back and forth (because it's held by a curtain rod), the actual width comes out to around 37" total, which just barely covers the window. It would be really nice to see a wider option that we could choose. Perhaps one with a 60" width, which would cover the window and a center gap if you've got one (the center gaps are fairly typical).Overall though, I'd highly recommend these to anyone trying to "blackout" a room! These work better than any other curtains I've seen so far!

Love These Curtains. Helps Keep Light Out
Okay not perfect. Some light shows through. Not fancy and yes hems are not perfect. Saying all this I am very happy with these curtains. They do not block noise as some have said, I wish they did since my neighborhood is party central. But they are simple easy to hang and I am order more. I got the dark gray. I included pictures to show how light does come through but it’s not a blinding stream of light that used to wake me early every morning. If you are a perfectionist these may not be for you. For the price and the job they do I love them

Dark room, happy napping! :)
Love them!.. I had black curtains before and you can notice the huge difference!.. I ordered 2 of the 42x63 and they fit perfectly. The sun doesn't come in anymore, and my room doesn't get as hot.

These are soft and nice quality! They do block out a good amount of light and I'm very happy with them! I would buy again for sure. Fast shipping too! (I was not offered any free products for my review)

70-80% room darkening - not completely dark
I held off for months in buying blackout curtains because I wanted to prevent waking up at 2pm. But especially now after daylight savings, I would wake up from the sunlight beaming through my (east-facing) closed blinds waaaay too early in the morning.I was expecting complete darkness with these curtains. They do not block light 100%. I was a little disappointed since the title of the product said "blackout" but also says "room darkening" - the latter of which it actually does. In the end, im actually a bit relieved because then I can somewhat gauge what time it is if I wake up without having to be blinded by light.I have pretty crappy blinds that let in a little cracks of light throughout, as well as all around the perimeter of the window. I could definitely still see the outline of the window behind the curtains but the little cracks were significantly darkened.I would say the materials are of pretty good quality. Not the best, but not bad. Kinda stiff but the threading and grommets seem to be intact.Similar to what others have mentioned, the two panels I received were not of the same length. One is maybe 1cm longer than the other, which honestly, is not a big deal to me. If the curtains are closed, it would be too dark to even notice, and if the curtains are drawn, they would be separate from each other so it would be impossible to see the comparison. But if that sort of detail is important for you, then be warned that they'll probably not be 100% identical.Overall, I'm actually pretty happy with these curtains. I'm going to iron it later to get all the creases and wrinkles out from the packaging and see if that helps with the shape because it doesn't look as soft and fluid as it does in the stock photos.

Stunning
It is stunning. I love the dramatic look. We wanted to blend in the 70" TV. The curtains are not lined but still seem to do the job.

LOVE!
These curtains are amazing! They could easily sell for two or three times the price. They don't wrinkle, and they feel so nice (kind of soft) to the touch. I have them in light grey and they fully block out the light during the day. I hung them on a bay window in my baby's room. They look gorgeous!

One Star
I thought we purchased blackout curtains... sure they dimmed the room, but not what I would call blackout

Great quality, especially for the price
Great quality, especially for the price. They are soft and have a good weight to them. The "platinum" colour is a pale, cool grey with blue undertones. They are not a true blackout curtain; a noticeable amount of light comes through. We bought them to use as thermal curtains, and for that purpose they work well.

Perfect!
I was looking for black out curtains and shopping around they were so expensive since you have to buy panels individually and I needed two, the previous ones I owned were a velvety type of material and heavy and attracted so much dust and dirt but it's all I could find for darkening I decided to go for these since they were half the price, I am beyond impressed they are a silky light fabric and they feel and look great, they are full darkening (bought the black ones) and I would definitely buy again.

Great but colour isn't the same as they had described
Honestly the curtains are great quality, they do help in keeping the room dark, they are so so so soft, but the only problem is that we ordered them in the whitest colour ever and they came in looking light grey. In the end it's fine because it honestly looks better in this colour, but just a little warning for anyone else out there if they're ordering the whitest option (I forget the exact name of the colour I just know I made sure to order white curtains) just know they'll come in a little bit more grey

Don't waste your money
1. It's only 1 panel.Make sure to read everything carefully as they only include 1 panel. Seriously who only buys 1 panel?2. Not black out.Doesn't block out light. On normal curtains this wouldn't be a problem but this is sold as black out curtains.3. Poor stiching.Serveral spots where the stiching didn't catch folded over edges. For the price I didn't expect perfection, but this is basically unusable as intended.

better quality than physical stores, environmentally friendly, tasteless
At first, I wanted to go to the physical store to buy, but because the epidemic did not have time to go out, I waited for ten days. I found that it was much better than the original physical store after receiving it. It was very shady. It turns out that the baby always wakes up and doesn't sleep, but now with this blackout curtain, it's much better. If I knew it, I could buy it earlier. The taste is very small, and it almost disappears after a few days. Buy with confidence from babies, better quality than physical stores, environmentally friendly, tastelessCurtain quality: very goodFabric material: thick, odorless

Quality Room Darkening
We have been redecorating a bedroom in our home for an incoming foster child, a little girl. The window of the bedroom faces the East and so we needed some room darkening curtains that would allow sleep to continue beyond 6 AM, especially in the summer months. These curtains certainly fit the bill. We have been very happy with the color match in the room as well as their ability to keep the room dark and/or private, as required. After purchasing the curtains, we decided to get rid of the will are blind that had been in the window previously. A happy customer.

Nice fabric texture, but not completely darkening
I purchased the pink one and it is not completely darkening. The is still enough light for you to see big shapes like a human silhouette for example. Judging by the question answers I thought I would receive 2 pieces for purchasing the 42x84 inches but it was just one piece. Maybe a darker color would have done a better job, but I wanted it to match my daughter's room. The panel quality is pretty good though and looks like it will last long.

Better quality than the price suggests...
After reading a load of reviews I was skeptical about these curtains, but I was surprised that the quality is definitely better than the price would suggest. Ordered beige and although not actually blackout - they dimmed quite a bit. The description says that the darker the colour - the darker the room. But beige is on the lighter side and they definitely darkened our sunsoaked living room. I have slightly better dark blackout curtains for the kids’ rooms but they were quadruple the price. I’d buy these again.

Not the advertised size.
These are not lined so can't be called blackout curtains. However, the material is thicker and it does block most of the light out so I can accept that feature as is. My issue is that they only come one to a package. I purchased two of the 63" length and hung them. The bar is level, the window is level but one panel seemed to be higher than the other. I measured them. One is 62.75 inches and the other is only 62.2 inches. They work for the cost but I find the lack of quality control off-putting. I wouldn't recommend these unless you are more easy going about actually getting the advertised size of panel.

Good dimming curtains, but not blackout
I have been planning to buy these for a while but just took advantage of the lightning deal and grabbed 2 of the dark beige 42x95 panels. I was expecting a much more dramatic darkening effect for curtains that are called "blackout", but I suppose you get what you pay for.For the price, even without a discount at $18.99, they are nice curtains. The fabric is soft and heavy, not chintzy, and the stitching seems to be well done. The grommets are secure in the fabric and make the curtain easy to open and close. As mentioned above, they are not 100% blackout, but they do block out a good deal of sunlight. The photos were taken at 4 pm, and with the curtains closed it feels like 8 pm from how dim it is.These seem to insulate the room from heat as well, as with the curtains closed my room felt cooler than normal during the day.I would probably buy these again if I didn't need to fully block out light in a room. Good value for the price.

Good enough
The other black out curtains that we have are much more effective than this one. However it works well enough. The other curtains that we have you wouldn’t know if the sun is up or not. However with these curtains you can tell when it’s sunny and you can tell when it’s night time. But it doesn’t let any light through it will disturb your sleep.

Poor quality, go with a different brand.
Disappointed, I've purchased others and liked them but this set was tertible quality, you can see how much light comes in and that's with my blinds drawn. My kiddos set is just curtains, no blinds and is BLACK in his room. This is not enough for a migraine sufferer, so purchasing a different brand with backing.

Does what it’s meant to do
Colour is just like photo. Does a great job blocking light and helps keep bedroom cool on summer days. Paired with a wrap around Curtin rod and place a little higher than usual for better light blockage.

Get the job done
I work really early in the morning so I go to bed when it's still light out. They definitely block most if not all the light even though mine are a lighter colour. I would definitely recommend these, they have so many different colour and size options and they're very affordable for what you get! The only issue I had was that the colour was a bit off, it showed up and it was quite a bit darker than what I was expecting.
