This gate was easy to assemble. Almost completely assembled in the box. I'm using it to block of the stairway to go down stairs. The gate is designed to be all the way open or else it self closes. This is a great feature make sure the gate doesn't get accidentally left open. The toddler has already rattled the gate and it hasn't gone anywhere, though I probably should eventually zip tie it to the spindles. As my stair case doesn't have much to mount a gate to, this self standing gate was a great option for me. I don't know why I had such a hard time finding it, but I'm happy I did. Each gate wall can be snapped in or unsnapped by an adult. There is a push pin on the top and the bottom of each side of the fencing to remove a wall. I am only using 4 of the five panels.

The media could not be loaded.  We use this to Keep my baby away from danger areas! It is sturdy and looks great! Easy to use and install. But our living room is larger than I think. I need to buy another one set or 5 set to form a larger play yard, as the picture shows. Also I highly recommend you also order a foam playmate If you use it as a baby fence.

Good product for price. Screws and mounts and mounts are a little cheaper plastic, and screws could strip easy if you are not careful but overall good. Do not expect it to be rock solid towards the middle. There is a little give. That would be impossible short of mounting to your floor (which you could do on your own). Not sure why some reviews would assume that would be possible with an adjustable gate.

Very sturdy, good construction! The handle is easy to operate one handed. I wish it had a 6th panel because the shape is odd, otherwise it's great.

I have a 91 inch doorway into what should be my dining room but is my dog room. There are not many gates within this range, height, and sturdiness. This gate checks all of the boxes.The joints lock in place. They can be screwed tight so that they do not flex.The gate swings both ways. This let me secure it into the corner since we do not need it all of the time.The mounts let me stretch the gate taunt.The mounts are cheap plastic. Make sure you mount them into a stud.The screws are terrible. Do not use them. Get a decent box of general construction screws to use instead. These things stripped immediately.The build of the gate is nice. It came well boxed and secured with foam to protect the edges. Because the joints lock into the position you place them, you can have it free floating as a barrier very easily. My dogs would push it around however, so I wall mounted.
