Jarware Honey Dipper Lid for Regular Mouth Mason Jars, Orange, 16-Ounce

It was exactly as described at packaged very well. I was able to get a jar and start using it immediately.

I have been reading that this is too long for some ball jars, Well, did you know that there are several jars that will fit a ball jar top? I am using a classico sauce jar which is a mason jar for my honey, Fits nicely. Using a glass jar, you can warm up the honey if it crystalizes unlike a shaped jar, plastic or other fancy jar. You need to press the dipper top into the underside of the mason screw on ring and it snaps in, so far so good.

the actual device doesn't go down as far as shown, which means you must tilt the jar hard to get to the last little bit. Another inch and a half would be better.

This product fit perfectly on our local jar of honey. Make sure to push the stick all the way into the top piece. It has saved us many sticky messes!

Waste of time and money as the dipper does not fit into the lid of a regular mouth Mason Jar as it claims to do. Tried hot water trick directed on box as directed but still nothing. It might help if the correct fitting lid was included. Concept is good but product has to deliver what it's supposed to do.

Does Not Work as advertised, that is, with a 16 oz. canning jar with regular lid. I did a work around by using a 12 oz. tall jelly jar but I only have one of them. I had to remove the oil I had in it to use it with honey. The oil jar had a black Jarware pouring spout which I really like and have purchased probably 8 of over the past few years, to use for my oils and for gifts. I would not gift this honey lid though unless I happened to have a tall jelly jar to go with it. That is disappointing. The picture in the ad is misleading.

We just got this and we love it! No more sticky knives we need to clean every time we put honey on our toast!We love the fact that it's metal, that it fits directly into the mason jar, and that the honey drips so easily and consistently.Drawbacks:1) You need 2 pairs of hands to put the grey rubber, circular piece around edge the metal top before sinking it into the screw part of the lid (and putting it on the mason jar).2) The directions for how to do #1 are a mere photo on the outside of the box and a vague description.3) The wand is not quite long enough for our tall jar. But we can just tilt it to get the bottom of it.Very excited. We regularly get honey from a local farmer. And this is going to be great! Highly recommended.

I love this! We go through a lot of honey and I always got aggravated at the lids getting clogged or stuck to the jar so I really wanted a honey dipper but I was worried about bugs getting into traditional honey pots. I already had some mason jars on hand so I decided to purchase this dipper for one of them. I have had it for a few weeks now and have gone through about 1/2 a jar of honey with it, I can safely say I love it! I had no difficulty snapping the dipper into the rim, I just pressed firmly around the edges. Make sure every thing is washed and fully dried before you use to avoid contaminating the honey.There is a trick to using a dipper without dripping honey all over, though. You have to constantly rotate the dipper to make the honey stop streaming, then you move the dipper (while rotating) over to whatever you want to put the honey on, then stop spinning the dipper, wait for the desired amount of honey to drip off then repeat the spin back into the jar - I've found the fastest drip happens when you hold the dipper horizontal. I haven't figured out how to just spin the dipper, so I've found it easiest to hold the lid rim with one hand and spin the dipper with the other, which lets me hold the dipper steady while I spin and allows me to move and spin at the same time - I'm generally not very coordinated so others may not need to do this. Once the dipper is fully snapped into the lid rim it will freely spin without coming out of the rim.

We're making great use daily of our honey dipper lid. The mason jar in which our local honey was sold must be metric or something, because the dipper was too tall and the lid wouldn't close. No problem, though, because the dipper comes in two parts and it was easy for us to take about 1/2 inch off the stem and replace the top. Now it fits perfectly!

Fiquei triste pois pensei q viria o vidro mas só vem a tampa. Tenho q achar um vidro adequado para colocar e dar certo. Mas o produto é de boa qualidade
