Perfect fit
I wanted to replace my 20 inch struts with something a bit stronger. I was able to leave hardware in place and just pull off the old struts and replace them with these new ones. They work great. These are not my first pair from this company. Just make sure you get what you need because once you open them up, you will never get them close again to return.

If using for a tonneau cover get the 60lbs struts
I got the 100lbs struts. They are very strong. I put them on my tonneau cover and it’s hard to close. Not the fault of the struts. I needed the 60lbs struts. But I’m too lazy to return them.People who say they won’t compress in the reviews, they won’t compress until you install them. I installed mine and they work fine. Before I put them on I tried to compress them using my weight (200lbs) but they wouldn’t, that’s just not how these work.

They work
My travel trailer has under the bed storage. The existing struts were not strong enough so it was hard to lift & my wife couldn’t lift it at all. I had to use a board to hold it up. These struts made it where I lift easily with one hand & it will stay up until I push down to close it.

Do not buy this product I ordered it and it came without mounting brackets.... useless

Not working out of package.
Junk. Both of them would not close. I hate to leave a bad review but unfortunately I could not reach any customer service and was forced to return them. I purchased the 100lbs ones and it was for a bed lift in my RV. I ended up getting different ones with the same rating and have no issues with them.
