I needed these to put on a cart that is attached to my steam traction engine model. And this is as absolutely realistic as it gets. What I have done in order to avoid that small parts getting detached as others complain about, is applying some diluted wood white glue with a brush and let it dry. The glue becomes invisible and Bales become more solid.

My 4 year old totally loves these, just like the real thing for him to play with his tractors and stuff, however I didn't realise that every time he plays with them little bits of the hay come off and it goes all over, thr like weetabix!! Still a great real life product though and if definitely buy them again.
