Ellison at the top of his game
The late Harlan Ellison wrote great essays and articles, and in this book he is at the top of his game--engaging, funny, outrageous, articulate, opinionated, persuasive, and overflowing with wisdom.

"H" is for "hubris"
Harlan Ellison was a very talented man with massive prejudices. It seems that if he didn't like something, then it was his opinion that that thing was unworthy of anyone's attention. Harlan once said that people were not entitled to their opinions; they were entitled to their informed opinions. That is just one example of how Ellison contradicted himself. If the reader can take the included rants with a grain of salt, then they can still be enjoyed.
