Different in a good way!
This was a bit of a different story by Susan Stoker. Yes, it has its usual action and adventure. Yes, it has its usual damsel in distress. What makes this one different is that we spend most of the time in the jungle and she tortures you with a good mystery. It was one heck of a ride.Casey is an entomologist who was on a trip in Costa Rica with three students when they were all kidnapped. When Casey’s brother, Blade hears that she has gone missing he and the rest of his Delta Force team goes in to find her. One Delta in particular wants to see Casey safe. After seeing picture of Casey, Beatle knew there was something about her that drew him to her. After rescuing her from the pit she was being held in, he was determined to be the one to bring her home. The way he takes care of her is swoon worthy. He knows when to push her and when to be patient.Beatle was not alone in his feelings. After he rescued her from her prison, Casey felt instantly safe with Beatle. She knew he was the one who would keep her safe. Although Casey was the one being rescued, she was no shrinking violet. While in her prison, she took care of herself by doing what her brother told her if she was ever captured. She fought to live when locked away and when she was safe at home, she fought to get better. To not let the experience define her. Her strength and perseverance made her likable. All in all it was such a great read. Another winner by Susan Stoker.

Super Jungle Love!
Super writer Susan Stoker has released the seventh book in her amazingly awesome Delta Force Heroes series, Rescuing Casey, and it’s just incredible! This is Troy ”Beatle” Lennon’s book. Our heroine is Delta team member Blade’s sister, Casey Shea. She is on a research trip with 3 of her students in Costa Rica when she is kidnapped. She is separated from the other girls and shoved into a pit of water. The girls are rescued, but Casey is left for dead. Beatle and the team are determined to rescue her, especially Beatle. Ever since he’s seen her picture and falls for her. But they don’t find her until 5 days after the others were rescued, and already been missing about a week. Beatle finds her, muddy, dehydrated, unable to talk. But they still have to walk to the exfiltration site.Casey and Beatle bond, and he protects her once she gets to his base. The threat is still out there and wants her. But when they reduce the threat, will Casey stay?As usual, Susan Stoker has written a military romance that grabs on from the very first word and does not let go! I could read this, over and over, and probably will!

So good
Casey is an entomologist and has taken three of her students to study bugs in Costa Rica. The four are put together in a hut until they come for Casey and say her ransom has been paid, but instead they throw her down a deep, dark hole.Beatle is in the Delta Forces with Casey’s brother Blade. When one of the girls father doesn’t hear from his daughter, he sends soldiers after her but Casey isn’t found with them. It takes several days to be able to hunt for her and Beatle has a feeling he can find her, he just hopes alive. He took one look at her picture and knew he had to get closer to her. They find her but she is severely dehydrated and very weak. Beatle and Truck stay with her while the others scout the area. They are ambushed once and Casey is told their boss wants her dead. While the get away and finally get to the town and Beatle and Blade talk her into going back to Texas with them until they figure out who kidnapped her.Casey already has a little hero worship toward Beatle but the more she’s around him, the harder she falls and vice versa. Beatle will do anything to keep her safe and happy and with him.Beatle and Casey are both strong people. Beatle is a total teddy bear when it comes to Casey. Steamy sex scenes. Edge of your seat, ‘OMG’ I can’t believe that, story. Totally blew me away.

Book 7 In the Delta Force Series is Amazing!!! Bug-Man meets Bug-Woman with some major teasers for the next 3 books
Susan Stoker writes such amazing characters and stories that I often forget that these are fictional people, this book was no different. Casey and Beatle AKA Troy’s story was exceptional, filled with just enough romance, danger and suspense to keep the reader invested in the outcome. Casey Shea is a professor of entomology on a trip with 3 students in Costa Rica when they are kidnapped and taken into the jungle. Her brother Blade and his Delta Team are sent in to save the women and bring them home but when they get there all have already been rescued with exception of Casey. After seeing a photo of his teammates sister Beatle feels a pull toward her and does everything he can to save her and bring her home safely not just to her family but to him. Can he rescue her and keep her safe long enough to find the person responsible for her kidnap? You absolutely must read to find out and trust me, it is so worth it! And the teasers at the end of the book for Blade, Truck and Chase are so good that I have no idea how I will be able to wait until April, Mary and October for them to come out!

Love this whole series.
This is book 7 in the Delta Force Heroes and, although, each book is a stand alone I would recommend reading the books in order to get an idea of the sense of family the team has...... and also because they're all awesome.Casey is an entomologist, alongside her team she is in the jungle studying bugs. Whilst in the jungle her and her team are kidnapped. Casey's brother is a member of Delta Force, once they know the team is missing they make it their mission to track them down and bring them home.Troy 'Beatle' Lennon is a member of the Delta Force team, after seeing a picture of Casey from her brother he is determined to find her safe, he just feels she is the woman for him.I really enjoyed this book, I don't feel you really hear a lot about Beatle in the other books so I was looking forward to seeing how he handled being in the jungle, especially as he got his nickname because he hates bugs. This is an instalove story and I know some people aren't a fan of those but this one is done really well and it's not all hearts and roses (they are stuck in a jungle with her brothers team, filthy, stinky and sweaty. Not the most romantic location haha). If you are a fan of Susan or military romance then you'll enjoy all the books in this series.

Brilliant book, highly recommend reading this!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was as usual an awesome next book in this fabulous series... this time it was about Troy ‘Beatle’ Lennon, and Casey Shea, who is Aspen (Blade)’s sister. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as the mystery and suspense of who, why and for what reason Casey was kidnapped and thrown in a hole to die is absolutely riveting. I love the way Susan Stoker is able to capture and enthrall a readers mind for hours on end and the way she doesn't let you go until the last page is read. I also loved that we got to meet some of our favourite Delta Force characters and their wives. The chemistry between the main characters is so off the hook and they are perfect for each other. An entomologist with a boyfriend named Beatle how much better can it get, especially when you find out how he got his nickname!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the spoiler at the end of the book and soooo looking forward to the next one is this series!!!!!!!!!!

Masterful
Another brilliant read starring Susan Stoker’s Delta team. This one focuses on Troy ‘Beatle’ Lennon, and Casey Shea, Aspen (Blade)’s sister. The Delta team are sent in to rescue four women, kidnapped during a research trip in Costa Rica. I’m not going to spoil any plot lines here, but the depth and detail in describing the Costa Rican jungle by Susan is amazing, along with background information on bugs, psychology and all matters military. This is a well researched and well thought out book. The plot is action-packed, the romance is hot and sweet and the whole book is a joy to read.

Loved it!
This book started us off in enemy territory and the action and suspense only built from there. I loved the immediate connection forged between Beatle and Casey and how much of the other characters we got to see in this book - especially the insight we got into Truck and Mary. With that last teasing paragraph I am desperate to get to their book! I hope one day we get little Annie's story once she is all grown up!
