This is not real pumice but scoria in my opinion - pumice is usually light coloured and floats on water, but scoria is dark and sinks (check out Wikipedia or a geology source to compare) - however it does the intended job perfectly. It will not float in the bath, but (literally!) sinks like a stone so don't drop it onto anything delicate or breakable!It is about the size and shape of a rounded bar of soap, so fits well and comfortably in the hand, and does a good job of scaping hard skin whilst still being comfortable to use.Glad I bought it and am happy to recommend it, but only 3 stars because it's not actually what it claims to be.

If you want red gritty sand all over your bath then use this product. It looked used judging the wrapping. After running this rock under the tap red grit was going all over the sink. Straight to the bin. Will not buy this again

Reminds me of old fashioned stone used when growing up. Don't break to pieces like others previously boughg and easy its to use. Would def recommend!
