Impressed as can be with the Pumpkin Carriage
Just for a bit of backstory, I was raised by a father who is a nuclear engineer in the military by trade -- in other words, my standards of perfection are so high that only Rick Sanchez himself could make something level enough for my tastes. That being said, this product surprised me. For $15 you get a beautiful puzzle which, although too difficult for my 6 year old daughter, was immaculately well designed, very beautiful when complete, and a satisfying level of difficulty for a 32 year old man and his 6 year old daughter to complete. I'll highlight the strengths:1. Simple packaging containing everything you need except for a pair of tweezers and maybe some glue if you want it to be permanently constructed. It even came with a small square of sandpaper to smooth out the rough edges of the broken out pieces!2. Wonderfully detailed instructions. IKEA should take note.3. EXTRA PIECES for each and every one of the smaller (more easily lost) or finer (more easily broken) pieces.I could go on, but that's enough for this 5-star review. No, I am not a paid endorser nor someone who received the item for free. I'm simply a guy with high standards who knows a good product when I see one, and is willing to write reviews for things that truly go above and beyond.

Fun but more difficult than expected
I got this to put together with my 7 year old. It’s says 8 and up, so I thought she could do it if I helped her. No way. This thing is crazy difficult. The tiny little pieces are so delicate. One of the small protrusions broke off when trying to fit them together. Some of them fit too loose, some fit too small. She ended up popping most of pieces out of the form and I assembled it, with some difficulty. I would suggest using a bit of school glue in the places where the fit isn’t super tight. Once we had it together, some of the parts I put together early on fell out before I started using glue. Glue would have solved that, though. It was fun and we enjoyed it, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again, especially not for a kid under 12.

Nice Little Kit, Fragile...
This was a nice little kit, I probably could have put it together in a day but I decided to paint it. It went together well if you take your time. Some of the pieces, I wax them with a birthday candle to get the tabs to slide into the slots more easily. But my biggest gripe with this kit is with delamination. Most of the pieces come out of the sheet with no problem, but occasionally (1 out of 6) a small chunk will delaminate off the piece. Or on occasion when I am assembling it. Even though I take the most care I can. And it is frustrating. But I finished it, and I am happy.

Easily breakable pieces
Cool little puzzle but....it's thin and breaks very easily. You have to be careful with it and take your time. Cute pen holder. I've glued many pieces lol.

VERY HARD
This one for the box was easy but still the pieces are so tiny and they break very easy. But the big part of the piece does not come together in a circle no matter what you do. It looks like it should just place together but no matter what piece I used to hold the horn part I guess you could call it, it would not go together as the pictures looks. Also they are so so very tiny pieces, hard to work with. Sad because this one was the one I wanted the most and it was a disaster. I am still trying to make something out of it and see if I can glue the pieces together to make the round horn part work somehow.

Fun but Flimsy
Overall, this was a fun little crafting project. However, the pieces are very thin and very flimsy. At some points, the pieces didn't seem to just snap in or go together, so you have to use a little bit more pressure to get them to fit - and that's usually when the wood would snap or split. The makers obviously realized that this may happen because they do give you spare parts for some of the more sensitive and aromatic area.In the end, I ended up breaking some of the parts and ended up using a combo of wood glue and my hot glue gun to keep things together. I was kind of bummed because I wanted to buy some of the other kits to put together but not sure if it's worth it any more.

Fun but...
These puzzles are fun but the quality of the wood is awful. The pieces break easily. I already broke 3 pieces and I am only on stage 3 of 7. I am very careful and have extremely steady hands. Just trying to snap a piece in place can cause a piece to snap. These would be better if the pieces were make of plastic that looked like wood.

Great product!
I bought this for my boyfriend as part of an advent calendar I did for him. I separated the directions and pieces into 24 for him to put a bit together each day. It was a fun twist and something he really enjoyed! I highly recommend this product for anyone who loves cameras and puzzles!
