Solid shirt for the money

Over recent years American Apparel seemed to me to have declined in quality. This T-shirt however is like the original AA T-shirts, with a slimer fit and fine feeling fabric.

Material is fantastic and does not shrink .

The tri blend gives it a slight texture that looks less plastic than some solid color t-shirts

I work in a plate/part processing plant where we cut parts from sheets of metal. I used to just cycle through the various black shirts I owned with graphic designs as my clothes would get dirty and black/dark colors hid the grunginess the best.These shirts are super comfortable and have a great fit. I can't wear 100% cotton shirts as they tend to be more box-shaped and shrink in the wash. These have a longer length than normal t-shirts. The tri-blend material is soft and breathable, which is perfect for long hours on the job. I appreciate how durable they are, holding up well even after multiple washes. Due to the parts we produce and stack both having a somewhat square/sharp edge and at times being hot parts, I do develop small holes in the stomach region, but not really the fault of the shirt, just the fault of my work environment.Overall, I highly recommend these t-shirts for anyone looking for comfortable and reliable workwear. They’ve become a staple in my wardrobe!I will note, I've bought 8 of these total, as I work 4 days a week, so I can go two weeks before I need to wash all of them. I'm giving these 4 stars solely because the page when I purchased advertised 50% cotton, 25% polyester and 25% rayon, but the tags show 50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% rayon. I would have preferred the 50% cotton, as I think that would have allowed these to breath a little more in warmer temperatures.

Need a good gym shirt? Need to run to the store? Need to go to happy hour?The fit of this shirt plus the feel of the material makes this a great shirt no matter where you go.

The old American apparel t shirts used to fit perfect. These are too big in the arms and too long.

I wear these under my scrubs daily. They’re soft and last for years.
