Metric USA Comfort Fit Harness for Small and Medium Dogs, Cartoon Design, S, Chest 13-17”

Very soft and comfy for little dogs. The only gripe I have is the fit is a little weird on my 9 pound chihuahua. The chest has a little gap ( I assume it would be better for a dog who pulls) -and the sides are snug. I ordered an exsmall and seems okif I would have gone with a normal small I think he'd be able to back out of it. Love the color and the dual Velcro/ snap closure.UPDATE!The harness was apparently too wide for my dogs underarms and ended up cutting him! I tried to return and they are charging me $6 to return! WTF Prime? Very Unhappy. I would not recommend for Chihuahua owners :(

I bought xs first, but it was too small for my dog, then I bought s, but it was too big, there is huge difference between xs and s.

Those of you out there with itty-bitty dogs know how hard it is to find items small enough for them! I ordered an x-small for our 1.5 pound Morkie pup & it fits perfectly! Plus the way the Velcroed flap overlaps will allow for adjustment as she grows. She is 2.5lbs now and it still fits good with more expansion room. I overlapped the flaps & made sure the Velcro was secure when I put it in the washer & it came out of the cycle still connected the same and looking brand-new. Not sure how long it will hold up, but it is well made so I'm optimistic. I already ordered a second. We have connected the two rings where the leash connects to the harness over the dog's shoulders with a plain round keyring. It made it quicker to attach the leash. (Potty training...gotta hurry!). Our little girl was 14 weeks when we first put this on her. Because she is so little, we first tried a kitten collar with no luck in leash training. It was small enough but she just backed up and pulled when we tried to walk. She took to this harness much better, with only a few tugs here and there. One more thing may interest those with long haired dogs. The overlapping flaps are wide with the Velcro placed in the center. I am able to smooth her hair under the bottom flap, then press the top flap down tight. So far her hair hasn't caught in it. The bottom flap has the fuzzy Velcro strip and the top flap has the gripper Velcro strip so even as she grows & the Velcro on the bottom flap is left exposed, there will be no hair pulling.

Purchased this dog harness for my 10lb yorkie in a small. It lasted for 3 months, see pics attached. The stitching has come undone in 2 places, one side, under the arm, and, on the opposite side near the neck. Because of this, he ran out of his harness on a walk with his dog walker but luckily did not run far. This product does not last long.

I am not sure who designed this harness but it was not a dog. The human who designed this harness clearly did not consider the sonic happiness of the dog or the dog's best friends (my wife and I).The comfort and easy on/off is beyond great (five stars+), almost everything about this harness is great but... The clasp and straps are a complete design disaster. This may be a recent design change?Problem #1 The clasp (clip) makes a loud rattling noise when the dog walks or runs or even breathes (just kidding, but almost). This constant clicking and clattering is enough to drive me mad. I can't imagine what it is like for my poor dog with this noise right in her ears. She is constantly trying to get at the clasp to make it stop.Problem #2 The black straps the the clasp attaches to are far too long and there is no way to adjust the length. It does not look like the photo at all! The result is that the clip/d-ring hangs inches from the top of the harness and flops around. This is not a problem when a leash is attached, but when a leash is not attached it's a silly mess.

This harness came quickly and as expected! The construction is great- no complaints whatsoever. The material is soft (important for my tiny old rescue pomchi) yet durable, the hardware is solid (LOVE the two hoops so she is able to pull from both sides equally), and the straps/fastener are very strong/durable as well. I feel like this will last for years. It's very cute too! My dog always gets compliments on hers. Also, the customer service was the BEST ever when I realized the harness I originally ordered was too small for my dog's weirdly large ribcage. You can tell that this company truly loves animals and is in this business for them. I have no reservations about recommending this product. I am a huge product researcher and looked through TONS of harnesses. Buy this one!

Great halter. I like that it's not mesh so the hair doesn't stick to it! Easy to put on too! I ended up getting a medium size for my shih Tzu since he's kind of "buff" in the chest and the small was a little too tight.

My Remy loves his harness. He hated the other harnesses and collars but can't wait to go out with this harness on. The sizes they give are correct. Be sure to measure your dog first. I would have bought a small but I went by their measurements and it said Remy needed a medium. Spot on. Perfect fit. Already suggested it to other dog owners I know.

I bought this for my shih-tzu that had a throat op and I wanted to keep any pressure away from that area. It served its purpose for that.However, no matter how tightly I wrap it, my dog can reverse out of it. I initially discovered this to my horror on a walk, when suddenly my dog just wasn't there. Instead he was across the road sniffing an interesting tree. I dread to think what could have happened had he encountered traffic.I no longer trust this product and will not be using it again. EVER!

Really great,safe and secure harnesses.I bought 2 for my tiny Yorkshire Terrier puppies,an xs and an xxs.Even my vet commented on how lovely they were. The pups are bigger now and the harnesses are still fitting them well 2 months later.I can't recommend these highly enough.I have noted some negative comments regarding sizing,I measured my little guys in length,girth and neck,I chose the appropriate size and they fitted perfectly. As for them getting out of the harnesses,they tried but they simply couldn't.If a dog is reversing out of a harness,there's sizing issues.

Likes: It's nice and soft and well padded.I can see why some dogs may like it.Dislikes: 1)My dog was measured correctly, a smaller harness wouldn't have fitted and it's too baggy round the front. I wouldn't like to say whether she could or take a chance on her reversing out of it.1)The loops are also too long and baggy, meaning that they either click together or bang against her back. These cannot be adjusted.3)This was the first harness I've ever tried on her that she just refused to walk in.4) Some of the stitching wasn't the best quality and I can see faults developing in the future.

I have a small chihuahua and this harness fits perfectly, Chihuahuas have big heads and Popcorn hates having his head stuffed through a narrow space no problem with this one! just put his feet through and do it up. He likes it it is warm and comfy Would recommend as a good, great, stupendous buy.

as one of the other review has stated dogs can simply walk backwards out of these harnesses. They are made of good quality stuff and when they first arrived we thought they were great.... until last week when one of our Maltese simply stepped backwards and the harness just came straight over her head and fell on the floor. i'm just glad we were not by a busy road. a couple of days later both dogs did it on the same day. Be very carefull of this design. I am returning both as they are just not safe.
