I love them!
Perfect width, comfortable for walking and standing for relatively long periods, help with balance, lightweight, good traction, excellent shoe quality, and easy to put on. I also love how they look!

Great Price and Great Fit
My search for some hiking shoes let me to try these KEEN hikers after not getting a good fit with another higher end hiking shoe. I wore these around the house for several days before taking them out on the street, just to be sure they were going to fit well, and the heel in the arch area.As advertised, there’s plenty of room in the toebox, but there’s a great fit for the arch and heel area, so the shoe feels great! I normally wear a size 11 in crosstrainers, and an 11 in this KEEN shoe worked perfectly. These make great looking casual everyday shoes. I love the leather, the shoes are easy to lace up to tighten them just right on my feet, and the tread has great grip.If anything changes after I actually go out on a hiking trail, I will add to this review. However, from what I’ve experienced so far, I believe they’re going to be comfortable and hopefully durable hiking shoes. I am pleased!UPDATE:I haven’t made it to the trail yet, but I teach school and have worn these to school several days… Today I realized they are more comfortable than the cross trainer sneakers that I usually wear. Very comfortable as I’m on my feet all day!

Pros and cons
First, absolutely love the shoe. It looks good. It feels great. For most terrains in good weather, it's great. Internally, it is very well built. But there is one big caveat. If you head out on sedimentary stone like limestone or sandstone when it's wet, this shoe feels slick as an ice skate. I took a nasty spill because it isn't slip resistant on wet limestone. In future versions, I really hope they work on the sole's slip resistance. The rest of the shoe is fantastic.****EDIT: Owned these for 5 months. Moderate hiking use. The sole has cracked and a chunk has fallen out of it. I would really hesitate to buy these if you actually intend to hike with them, comfortable as they are.****

Durable and comfortable
These are the third pair of these shoes I have purchased. They are comfortable.Durable.The soles are sturdy, can't rock from side to side. They are good for hiking or just casual walking. Why have I purchased three pair over time, because I like them so much I wear them all the time and eventually they wear out.I would recommend them.

Well made comfortable hiking shoe.
These are sturdy and comfortable. The fit was true to size. I live in Arizona desert they are worn in extreme heat and conditions.I would buy again without question. I have had them several months, lots of hiking and they are holding up well.

Keen away
Perfect for those who need plenty of room in the toe box. They seem to be high quality leather. Happy after several months of wear.

They used to be so great, 0 out of 5
I've been wearing Keens for a good 20 years and have bought probably 30 pairs. They're perfect for my feet and I can walk 10-12 miles without sore feet. Literally the only brand I can do this with. In the past 6 or so years I have noticed a serious drop in quality and regularly have to return brand new shoes due to defects like bad stitching and rubber soles falling off. This last pair of Targhee 3 oxfords passed the initial inspection and so I put them away for later when I needed them. I recently went out of states for a month on combination business and holiday. These were the only pair of shoes I brought thinking they would double for business casual and comfort in my off time. Not a week into my trip in Europe walking around I noticed one shoe was dragging/making noise. This evening I happened to look over my shoes and found that the sole has separated almost completely from the upper. This is not some wear related incident as these shoes have only been worn for about 8 days, instead I am convinced that Keen shoes are now complete garbage. With 3 weeks left overseas I am forced to buy new shoes, which is not easy over here. I'll be stuck with some overly expensive and likely uncomfortable shoe. I don't want to go as far as saying Keen screwed me, but this is the final straw with a company I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. So now it's going to be very difficult to do my 10 to 12 miles of walking and touring every day. Thanks Keen shoes, you just ruined my trip. 0 out of 5 stars.
