This kit was actually great quality, even 2 years later the paint is still usable and the brushes have held up well. I do wish the easel was a bit different, it’s definitely meant to display rather than be used while painting. The quality of the paint is very good, it’s actually right on par with the more expensive brands. This would be an awesome set for a beginner, or a child who has an interest in art. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids younger than like 7-8 just because it can get pretty messy and can stain clothes, but overall a great quality kit and gift.

My 2nd grader has been obsessed with painting lately. This set was a great value for the cost - plenty of paint. We bought extra canvases separately and she's still painting. Would be a great gift for the grade-schooler in your life!

Everything was just as displayed and easy to use. But the paint tried super quickly. So, I had to use most of it for one small pic. Could use a better quality paint.
