Does the job
This is very well made and easy to put up. It makes the bedroom area dark so easier to sleep and comes with two door openings which can be zipped from the top or bottom, for ventilation.

Doesnβt fit all Vango awnings
This bedroom footprint is smaller than most double mattresses as we found out when we tried to fit ours in. This also fixes to the ceiling of the awning with clips. In our Hexaway 2 there are no clips for the bedroom clips to fit into so we had to use string. Not really the look we were after.

likely to rip
this works well but only if you have a van that fits the awning (as opposed to the other way round). this awning is a waste of money if you have a van like mine (peugeot boxer L2H2). once the awning is attached you can't open the sliding door of the van as it will rip the awning. i've tried the larger awning for high top vehicles but it isn't a question of height - it's the width that's the issue. this awning doesn't have enough width for you to open the sliding door to its maximum opening. so you have to be REALLY careful to remember that when the awning is attached you can't open the door more than 70%. and who is going to remember that EVERY time they get in their vehicle. the manufacturers haven't bothered to alter the design. so that's why they get a poor review. well done stupid.reasonably easy to erect and works well as a stand alone room, but whenever i go away anywhere i don't bother connecting it to the van.....so it's now a tent.....NOT an awning. Lame.
