BASSDASHUPF 50+ Men’s Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt with Mask UV Neck Gaiter Hoodie

I don't like the feeling of sticky sun screen so I like to wear long sleeve shirts instead. And what's great about this shirt is it has a hood to protect my head. The thin material makes it comfortable in the summer, as opposed to a thick cotton shirt. Very stretchy and soft, no resistance to any movement whatsoever. It does dry fast if you're in a dry climate, but it also gets wet fast if it starts raining.The face gaiter has a mesh fabric over the mouth and nose area, which makes it easy to breath, and may protect you from the sun, but it's not like a face mask where it protects agains airborne particles. The same mesh fabric is also on the sides under the arms that make it breathable.The face/neck gaiter is also not shaped in any way so it might feel a little tight around the face if you're wearing it long term. For me it smushes my nose so I don't really use it. I mainly use the hood to protect my ears and neck and wear a hat over it to protect my face from the sun. But the face gaiter is great to have for annoying mosquitoes.The fabric is pretty thin so this white color, especially when wet, will expose your body, in case any of you out there are particular about your image when the shirt is wet. Which brings me to a little hack in dry climates, and dry climates only, if it's hot outside, soak the entire shirt with water and wring out the excess then wear it.This process will keep you cool as the water evaporates, and just keep a spray bottle around and keep wetting the shirt to keep you cool. This shirt is the perfect material to do this. It's the same concept as an evaporative cooler so this only works in dry climates, in humid areas not so much.Although I don't use it often, I like the little strip of material that goes over your thumb so the sleeves don't ride up your arm. It's a nice option to have, but it also doesn't get in the way if you don't want to use it.Pretty easy to clean, I came across some engine grease and stained part of the sleeve, I just dabbed some laundry detergent on the greased area before putting it in the wash and it came right off. I chose white because it stays the coolest, as opposed to dark colors that absorb heat. Overall if I'm going to be out in the sun this is my go to shirt! Definitely recommend.

Fits great and works like advertised

The quality of the shirt is great. The material is nice and soft and it breathes super well (i especially like the perforations on the sides and armpits). And my glasses don't fog up when I use the gator, which happened with some other brands I've tried.My only gripe with it is that it did fit a little snug for the size. If you like a little looser fit, I would probably order one size up from what you normally wear.

There is nothing that I could find to complain about this shirt. It kept me cool during the day and fits very well. Amazon suggested that I order a larger size than I regularly wear, but I stayed with my normal size and I’m glad I did! I ordered a like product from another seller because Bassdash doesn’t show to have the other color that I want… big mistake!! I’m sending it back and waiting on another Bassdash!

Really happy to have this for a windy hike along the coast. Good material. Originally bought a Medium since most of my clothes are Medium but switched to a Small cause it fit me better.

My wife bought me an Umbro shirt and hood from Bass Pro. It did not include the face mask. I was concerned the face mask would be too hot, but was more than impressed. Hardly notice it. Glasses don't fog, and no sunscreen running in my eyes. Strongly recommend shirts with the face mask. The much more expensive Umbro remains on a hanger even on multi-day lake outings. Good Buy!!

I was skeptical that a long sleeve in the hot sun could be cooler than a muscle shirt. I'm new to the world of synthetic outerwear, but boy am I impressed with what technology can do these days.I'm 6' 2" at 230 lbs. I like the cold as I don't have a problem with creating excessive amounts of body heat. Summer is my least favorite season just because of the heat.I decided to try this shirt, advertised as having moisture wicking, breathable, the vents at the side and under the arms, neck gaiter and hood, uv protection. It's been amazing. Wearing it outside today at 29°C with humidex its at 37°C out today at high noon.Cutting the grass and staying cool even in the sun. Barely broke a sweat, even coming back inside it took only 10 minutes by a fan to cool back down to normal when compared to half hour or 45 minutes some days with regular cotton shirts.I would definitely buy another for myself and each family memeber when the time comes.Highly recommend this shirt.
