Sunset Vista Designs Star Sleigh

Love everything about this sleigh except it is not painted well as shown in the online photo. When it arrived, the curved "handle" in the back of the sleigh was sticking out of the cardboard shipper and the red paint is scraped off. That's okay. I plan to paint the red and the gold because I would like it a bright red. My photos look like it is red, but is not real red. There is black paint in the gold stars and on other parts of the sleigh that should be gold. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Sleigh is sturdy, easy to assemble and really cute! The screws are already on the frame of the sleigh. Not packaged. Would recommend this item. Happy I made the purchase. :)

Very nice, I lost an antique sled we had used for 70 years, while this is not old, it is charming.

After reading the reviews I thought I am gonna get this!! others in the reviews said it will hold up to 80 lbs, me personally thinks more like 35-40 being the max.. I bought this for Christmas pictures.. Easy to assemble.. I was worried that the screws were missing but they are actually on the sleigh so dont go looking for the box that the vague instructions say.. I will say I was worried because when the box arrived it was opened re-taped and bashed in; in a few spots.. The delivery was far less than acceptable ... But it was soooooo cute!! Totally worth the buy!

Very easy to put together. It's sturdy. Will even hold my 4-year-old niece. Looks very nice and festive. I plan to put lighted gift boxes in it for Christmas out in the yard. Would also look really good inside with presents or flowers in it, or just like it is.

Cute design but appears used and old. Paint is horrible, red all over the gold parts, black on the red parts. Box arrived damaged, but the paint issue has nothing to do with the outside box. Poorly wrapped for shipping. Not sure what I will do, if I will keep it or return it yet. I do not recommend paying over $100 for this, you will be disappointed when it arrives

I assembled this in 10 minutes using my own wrench which was easy enough. I can’t imagine this would fare well in outdoor, inclement weather but inside this will be beautiful. As a decoration I don’t think it’d be wise to put too much weight in it. I plan to use this as a holder for multiple poinsettia plants and paper whites. Some may want their paint pens nearby as this needs some touch ups. Use care when unpacking and assembling as the stars and other decorative elements bend easily and will most likely break off with impatience.

This is strong enough for a child to sit in, up to about 80 pounds. However, only small children can fit in it. It won't hold a lot of presents because of the shape. The felt protectors on the bottom of the runners (designed to protect wooden floors) are small and fall off easily. Otherwise, the great thing about this sleigh is its potential. It's just a simple frame so you can add any decoration you like- we added bells, tinsel, and lights. I had no difficulty assembling it, and I am a beginner, so probably anyone could do it. I think it's a bit pricey for just a frame (it fits a 30 inch teddy bear quite well, or a small child). Made in China.
