I bought this baby doll for my 6 year old for Christmas. I know I'm a cornball, but, when I opened her up, I held her like a real baby and teared up a little thinking of when my own daughters were so tiny and beautiful. This doll is amazingly beautiful! Her little fingers and toes are separated and so lifelike. She is just the cutest.

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She has dementia and she LOVED it! Best thing I ever bought.

I was nervous ordering since there were so many mixed reviews. It probably doesn't help that there are several styles all listed together here. I got the one listed as "bunny bunting," and paid about $40. I am happy with this baby, now that I have seen it in person. I read several reviews that said they felt it looks the same as what you can buy at wally world for half the price. Well I spent a while today checking out the baby dolls there. I have to say some of them there, at first glance, looked nearly as nice. This doll wins out though in a few important details. First off, the wally world brand baby dolls at the store I was at in Pearland, Texas today did not have limbs that could rotate and be posed. I think that is a definite step up for this doll, as those dolls just sort of flop and cannot be posed. Secondly, the onesie and bunny bunting blanket that came with the JC doll is of impressive quality. So I do belive you are paying for that, as well. Lastly, little details like the fingers on this doll are superior. However as an Art teacher I probably pay attention to little details more than some, and certainly your average preschooler would not be so discerning. So depending on the age of the child, the doll at the store for half the price might just make more sense.I am knocking off a star because of the size. Like several other reviewers state, the doll is much smaller than I was expecting. She just doesn't seem like 15 1/2 inches to me.However, the 18 inch doll clothes my daughter has do fit this baby, albeit a tad long. I also tried a baby stella outfit on her and that fit, as well. 14 inch doll clothes intended for the 14 inch dolls in the am. girl line were way too small.I am keeping this doll and giving it to my second grader for Christmas, who wants a realistic looking baby doll. She doesn't need a two hundred dollar silicone reborn that isn't intended for actual play. It seems like some people spend forty bucks and expect that same quality, which is ridiculous. This baby, and her accessories, are a good buy for the price I paid. That is just my humble opinion.Oh, yeah, and the pacifier does fit, but it has to be squished or wiggled in a little for it to stay in. It will be easy for my eight year old, but maybe not for a toddler until he or she get used to it.

Product not quite as described. Don't get me wrong, my daughter LOVES this baby doll-- however it is not true to size of a newborn as the description states. So if you have doll clothes that are newborn size, they will not fit. Super cute doll, but not worth the price. Worth about $35. I would have actually purchased a different baby doll that this company makes which is around that price point, and has a soft, huggable body. Plus it's true to an actual newborn size. My daughter already has one of those, and I wish I would have bought another one so that she would then have 1 boy and 1 girl that fits into newborn clothes. This doll is cute, but not worth the money and my daughter can't change outfits as she likes to do. 3 star rating is because of how much my daughter loves her baby doll, but my basis would be 2 stars for the reasons listed above.

My 8 yo loves this doll mostly bc her cousin has a life-like doll and she was so proud to save up her own $38 to purchase this. From a parents standpoint it is as cheaply made as any other plastic doll, the pacifier dies not stay in the mouth skinless you hold it there., and the accessories are cheaply made. If I had purchased it as a gift I would have returned it for something worth the price. If it had been a $20 doll it would have been a decent buy. There are so many other better options for the money.

Each of my three girls (ages 5-8 at the time) got one of these JC Toys dolls for Christmas last year. I just noticed last week that this one that came with white clothes has loose limbs (the other two are also loosening up). So disappointed, as that was the number one factor for choosing a doll--posable limbs. One arm and one leg are so loose they just flop--non-possible at all now. Definitely not worth the price. Could have bought the non-possible huge name-brand dolls that come with life-time paid repair options (can't use the other brand's name, or Amazon might disable comment--it's the brand that sends out magazines and has a doll hospital). JC toys has no warranty against manufacturing defects. So you are really gambling a lot of money on an item that might not last even 1 year. I was hoping for a doll my girls could pass on to their kids. This doll is NOT it.My girls play very gently with their dolls, as they were instructed when they first got them--to treat them like real babies. We also keep them in a safe place in their bedroom, so their friends never have access to them.

This doll is beautifully crafted and very realistic looking . I bought this doll for my daughters second birthday and though she liked it at the time she has really grown to love it as she has gotten a bit older . The doll is bigger and heavier than most dolls suited for a two year old and is not particularly soft for cuddle time which is why I think she needed to be slightly older to fully appreciate the doll . Also due to the dolls size premie diapers and premie clothes ( rather than doll clothes ) fit nicely on the doll and can be found for next to nothing at a thrift shop . This doll does have a soft body so while it is suitable for taking to bed it is not suitable for bath time .

What a lovely doll!! Nearly overlooked this and bought a more expensive alternative with more reviews but SO glad I chose this, she's absolutely gorgeous. So well made and so nice to hold, highly recommend!!

I love this doll so much brought for my self just the right size like a baby now just need the clothes for it would definitely recommend it for all ages very pretty doll

Lovely doll just what I wanted for my great niece for Christmas.

This baby doll would have been just beautiful but I received a baby boy in a nappy with birth cert and armband. A friend bought it off me as I was going to return it. I think if I had of received the correct babygirl doll and blanket Tec I think I would have given five star rating.
