Dairy Craft English Cheddar, 200 g

It’s pretty close in taste to the real cheddar cheese I’ve tasted in UK.

I compared four India-made cheddars in a blind test. Dairy Craft comes out tops in overall taste—but it’s definitely not worth the money.1. The texture is about OK; there isn’t much crumbliness but it’s not too smooth or milky, either.2. I’d say it lacks severely in what you might call “character”; it feels like a generic, run-of-the-mill cheese.3. On saltiness, it ranks second out of four in my test—which might be a little too salty for some.4. It definitely does not taste like an authentic cheddar per se.But at the end of the day, Dairy Craft really is the tastiest—for me at least! You know how some commercial pizza chains have zero authenticity and use stuff that serves to, well, just make the pizza tasty—as opposed to expensive, authentic Italian (or even New-York-style) pizza? Well, Dairy Craft cheddar is just like that; not much character or definition or texture—but it tickles the taste buds better than the others do. The best if you don’t hang on to the words “natural cheddar” or “pure cheddar.”It’s not worth the cost, though; Amul natural cheddar is about 45% less expensive.

Excellent taste of Cheddar. Good consistency which helps in grating.

The taste is terrible very bitter, it's not a real cheese.

Very good cheese that really added to the flavour of the sandwiches and pizza.

Didn't felt any taste or sharpness of real cheddar cheese. It is just a plain processed cheese with high price tag
