Interesting, well-written book with the Gospel message for choldren
You cannot go wrong with a Patricia St. John book! She is a Christian and her books have the salvation message in all of them. The way she masterfully weaves an interesting story with the Gospel message all geared towards children is beautiful. Even is parents enjoy these stories and read them aloud to our children before bed.

Good story line
Book came new with no blemishes... This is a very good book! I'm 30 and I enjoyed it very much and even took a couple parenting tips 😂 . I'm stocking up on Christian fiction I don't mind my children reading as they get older and this is solid and very entertaining.

Sound Values
My little ones really enjoyed this book’s message about being truthful, considerate, grateful and many other virtues. Most importantly, it exposed them to the message of salvation. I am so grateful for the author.

Excellent book for children
This story had our grandchildren sitting on the edges of their seats. They were so disappointed when the book was finished, since they wanted the story to continue.

Real and moving
This book affected me greatly when I first read it as a child. I resonated with the little girl who was struggling with ordinary yet significant temptations, doubts, and insecurities. Rainbow Garden is not a cheesy, one dimensional portrayal of perfect children having perfect faith in God, but rather the story of real, complex young people grappling with true issues of faith.

nice story - but it has been "edited" (dumbed down) ...
nice story - but it has been "edited" (dumbed down) and has lost the unique wording of the author.

Good story with life lessons
Rainbow garden is a story about how a lonely little girl finds joy. Patricia M. St. John paints wonderful pictures of happy childhood and those little incidents that have such great meaning and excitement.Patricia St John has an ability in her books to bring Christianity to life in a very understandable way.The revised addition by Mary Mills in 2002, has been very abridged, many of the descriptions have been left out. It does make it easier to read for younger kids, but it leaves you wanting more detail and explanation. The book is a little slow at he beginning , but the plot and the pace pick us about half way through the book. I like some other of Patricia St John's books better than this one, but It is a worth while read because it has many important life lessons that kids grapple with.
