This one is good for large jars but will not fit into jam jars with a smaller rim so check the size you need. As it is stainless steel it is easy to clean as well.

Following a recipe I came to the point where is mentioned decanting the jam into jars. I was told that this would be so much easier with a jam funnel. It seemed such a good idea and so I bought one straight away. Yes the dimensions are mentioned, but in my naivety, I didn't measure an average jam jar top. If I had, I would have realised that this jam funnel is too large for the average jar. If the only jars you have are from the French jam maker with the gingham tops, then you are OK, but anything smaller and you are snookered and the whole point of the funnel is negated. Doh!

Laugh if you like but I bought this to fill the bird seed feeder in the garden. Absolutely perfect for the job!!

This was a gift for my daughter, who in lockdown started making jam. She is really `chuffed` with it.
