Made a noticeable difference to my health immediately
I am currently taking corticosteroids for a rare form of Rheumatoid arthritis, and bone loss is an expected side effect of long term use.I was recommended by my doctor to take Vitamin D3, Calcium and potentially most importantly vitamin K2 as it is responsible for transporting calcium out of the blood stream and into the bones.I looked for a natural form, as synthetic K2 is supposedly less bio-available than natural.Anyhow, after a few days taking this I felt stronger, with less joint aches, less muscle aches and generally more energy. I take quite a few other medications and vitamins under a strict regimen, so I am usually quite sensitive to changes. The K2 has had one of the largest impacts on my muscular-skeletal health that I've noted so far. I have a blood test soon and look forward to seeing the difference it has undoubtedly made. (Also just dont smell the bottle and you'll be fine)

Great ingredients that boost the effect of vitamin D
Having had blood tests earlier this year that showed I was vitamin D deficient, I have been supplementing with a high dose vitamin D supplement since then. I did some research and found out that it's best to combine vitamin D with vitamin K as the K helps the vitamin D to absorb into the body better.Since adding this vitamin to my daily supplement regime I have noticed that the energy boosting and fatigue decreasing effect of the vitamin D have improved further with the help of this supplement. The ingredients are very clearly stated and are excellent but I think this is excellent value for money considering the effect that it has.The tablets do have quite an earthy, herbal smell when you first open the bottle but it is not especially unpleasant and they are easy to swallow.

K1 and K2 are similar but have different roles to play
This is an organic, plant based Vit K supplement suitable for vegans, recommended dose is 1-2 per day and the bottle contains 60 capsules, so 1 or 2 months supply. It's made in France. This is Phytomenadione, or K1, and is sourced from vegetables.K2 is sourced from animal/dairy products and fermented foods.K1 and K2 are similar but they're not the same, and the differences are important when self prescribing.K1 and K2 have very different roles to play.K1 is primarily used for blood coagulation. Its what prevents excessive bleeding and prevents a paper cut from becoming life threatening!K2 helps to direct calcium to the right places and prevent it from building up in soft tissues, and may have a role to play in supporting bone, heart and brain health. These are the main differences, but not all.I would suggest that If you are taking Vit K to support the D3 or you are taking anti-coagulant, anti clotting, blood thinning medication it would be worth doing further research before self-prescribing K vitamins.(Its actually K2 that you need to support D3)Anyway, all that aside, this seems to be a decent K1 supplement if K1 is what you need.Organic, plant based and vegan, the capsules are not too big to swallow. They have a definite, not unpleasant, healthy 'herbal' smell.Perhaps theres a case to be made for better labelling standards in the UK. I am dropping 2 stars as the absent information is very important information.

Good product!
This is a organically sources vitamin K. The recommended dose on the package is 1-2 tablets per day. So it can last between 1-2 months depending how many capsules you use daily.Putting a capsule in my mouth although it doesn't have a taste but I smell a mild herbal scent, I think fennel is mostly recognisable! This is actually nice and points to its herbal and organic source. The vitamin K is apparently extracted from green tea but there are extracts of a series of other herbs in each capsule too.All in all a good product. I hope there is good amount of bio-absorbable vitamin K in it!I recommend it.

Good vitamin, perhaps not the best brand
There is a fairly recent theory that Vitamin K helps to divert calcium to the bones instead of clogging up your arteries. This is far from proven but potentially so important that it seems to me worth taking it. This brand offers an advantage and two disadvantages. The form of Vitamin K matters - it needs to be K2 and unfortunately the label of this product does not state it. The other problem is the value for money. Comparing this with Vitamin K by EVO, that costs £15.95 for 365 tablets and each contains twice as much vitamin K as these. That makes this one more than 7 times as expensive. The advantage is those various organic ingredients - Artichoke, Black Radish, Fennel, Tomato, Sage and Burdock. For my part, I don't think that justifies the price.

take it with vitamin d
ingredient of this vit k capsule is phytonadione (vitamin k1), amount in each capsule is 100mcgvitamin k1 found in green leafy vegetables, and from the description, the ingredient was extracted from a few organic vegetables and specifically from green teamaybe this is the reason that the container bottle is in tea colourthe gelatin capsule is transparent, i could see some pale green colour powder inside, look very much like green tea powder (matcha) i often use to make green teavitamin k works with vitamin d to ensure calcium is absorbed easily, beneficial for bone and cardiovascularrecommended intakes are usually 120mcg male or 90mcg female, but some say 1mcg per kg of your body weight, one capsule of this vit k contains 100mcg, i don’t have 100kg weight, but i believe it does not matter much as the amount still in recommended dose
