Good product
Comes presented in a lovely gift box making it ideal as a gift. This razor is expensive, however, it is great quality. Nice solid handle and great for sensitive skin, it gives a close shave leaving skin feeling soft and smooth.

Sensitive razor for neck and cheeks
This is a very smart and beautifully presented razor, in an attractive cardboard display box and it looks and feels much more luxurious than your standard razor and also feels great to use.Currently priced at £14.99, it’s roughly what you’d expect to pay for a razor like this, although it doesn’t come with any extra blades which would be nice and make it more of a set and is usually what I prefer so you don’t immediately have to buy a back up pack for when the head which is included runs out.The razor itself is a neck razor, which is specifically intended for that area to give a slightly less closer shave to prevent irritation but also suitable for cheeks if you have sensitive skin as it’s much more gentle. The blades are spaced apart more than your regular razor and definitely gives a gentler shave, my partner gets razor rash on his neck usually and didn’t even realise this existed so he’s very happy and hasn’t had any irritation since using, it’s gentle, yet precise and just leaves a very slight stubble than a real clean shave which my partner doesn’t mind.Overall very happy and a lovely, luxury looking and feeling razor at a decent price. We’ll definitely be continuing to use this, very happy! Trusted brand and great product as always.

Good old-fashioned shave
I’m rather fussy when it comes to razors, but I really can’t fault this one at all. It’s something of a return to basics with an old-fashioned blade rather than some multi-bladed self-lubricating thing that never seems to shave as close as you like. It takes a bit to get used to the angle you need to shave at, but once you have it cracked then this gives an incredibly close and irritation-free shave. It’s a very good thing.

Feels like going back in time rather than forward
I have been shaving for 16 years now. I went throug the Mach 3 era to the Mach 4 then Gilllette Fusion and also disposables like Wilkinson Sword to the green ones and BIC razors we used in the military. This felt like going back in time for the new razor. It has 1 blade and just more plastic/rubber padding bringing the height up so that it does not cut so easy (hair or skin). It works no doubt and it's fine. I trim the sides of my neck to straighten up my beard and have used this for a couple weeks now. It's not all that and no advancement or products were needed on the 5 blade razor.I just do not think this is worth the value of adding another razor to a collection. We want universal. Or at least I do.

A totally unnecessary razor
I’m in the precise target audience for this as I have a beard but shave my lower neck and line up around the sideburns/cheeks daily. But this just isn’t a particularly good razor. It doesn’t have the performance of Gillette’s usual cartridge razors, and doesn’t come remotely close to even the most average double edge blade performance. The “Better, Sharper, Platinum Plated” blades are probably decent (akin to Silver Blues or Astra SPs maybe), but the fixed pitch angle of the cartridge prevents a close shave. This is maddening. Wet shaving should not leave stubble after three passes, no matter how much marketing guff about “shaving at skin level” surrounds it.There’s something to be said about the handle, quite nicely shaped and weighted, but that’s obviously not enough to recommend this.I can see why this razor has been developed – specifically to cater for people like me – but it simply isn’t required. Dialling down the performance of a standard Gillette and repackaging it is a bizarre choice. Asking a premium for the blade cartridges is simply cynical. It’s frustrating as the KC Gillette line is a really nice idea in itself, and there’s even a proper DE razor in there, but creating a weirdly neutered cartridge and claiming it’s a “neck” razor is a bad move. It just doesn’t make any sense, besides attempting to capitalise on beard-care. Any razor can shave the neck. It’s what it’s specifically designed to do. Why would someone downgrade their razor to this?(If anyone from Gillette marketing or R&D is reading this – imho you’ve missed an opportunity with the KC line by not prioritising the DE razor and sticking to the real heritage element. There should be no place for a cartridge razor in such a line-up, especially one as plainly ineffective and gimmicky as this thing. In fact, why not go the whole hog and re-introduce the best razors you’ve ever made – the Fatboy and Slim – you could even pitch them as super-premium priced. That would be a real honour to your brand heritage and customers would be over the moon.)

An improvement for my sensitive skin.
This is the Neck Razor from the newly branded King C Gillette line of products for Gillette. They come in 2 variants. A Neck Razor and a Shaving & Edging Razor. This particular one is designed for your neck.It has 2 Stainless Steel Platinum Coated blades evenly spaced out and a thick strip of lubrication to help with sensitive skin. It’s new design is to help reduce irritation, razor bumps and tugging.I’ve always loved Gillette’s products, I'll admit some are a little gimmicky and certainly very pricey but after testing this neck one out. It’s pretty decent actually. The handle is well designed. The bottom is made from plastic and the top where the thumb rests has a nice rubber feel. It’s very comfortable actually, feels really nice in the hand.I have really sensitive skin and the neck area is always the worst for me. I have tried almost every branded razor there is and I have to say there is a little difference with this one.Maybe that’s down to less blades or a larger lubrication strip or even a cleaner cut from the Platinum coated blades. But there is a difference, not huge but it’s noticeable.Overall, I like it! It feels well-made and doesn't irritate my skin as much as other products.

Not great for men shaving.
The glade head is too flexible and I can’t get an even sharp shave. I have it to my girlfriend for her legs.
