What's "Premium" About This Product?
OK, so what's "premium" about this product of "Premium Tuna in Water?" As far as I can observe, it two things: the can and the amount of tuna inside. The can is about 2 ounces larger than the regular one AND it has a pop-top. So you no longer need a can opener, that's good. That's one thing. The second is that Chicken of the Sea really crams the fish in. Sort of like Albacore/Yellow Fin (they're the same thing!) only not as dry tasting. That's the second thing. The only drawback -- it's salty. Well, salty-er than what I have been eating recently. And I feed my cat tuna straight from the can every night, so that much added salt is not good for smaller-sized cat brains. But that's just me, not every purchaser of canned tuna.In summation: On the plus side, it's alot of tuna in an easy-to-open can. On the negative side, it's a tad salty which may be tasty but may also be bad for your circulatory system and your cat's brain. It's your choice. 😺😊🙋Addendum: On second thought, while not indicated on the label I believe that this IS Albacore tuna. It's really dry tasting. But the cat still eats every bite in her bowl so, c'est la vis! 🙋
